Thank goodness for Nationwide Pet!
I have been a policy holder for 3 years now-and have been pleased at every turn. It's a relief to know that my babies are covered and won't put us in the poor house if they get sick or injured. I have had only positive expierences with all Nationwide customer service agents.

Superb service

Great coverage at a great price but slow claim repayment
I love the coverage and it is at a wonderful price but even after sending in all medical records it still took around 3 months to get a determination and claim reimbursement. I know since it was my first claim it can take longer to review and process everything however, more communication on the status of the claim would have been appreciated.

Should have covered ear testing
We are about to go into our third year with Nationwide and you have never paid for one ear claim. With my renewal docs for 2018 I received an addendum that ear infections would be covered if Charlie went one year without an ear infection (which he did). He was seen on 10/13/18 and had an ear check and cytology which came back Negative for an infection yet you denied the claim.

My experience with Nationwide pet insurance has always been outstanding. The people I speak to genuinely care about my pets and are always helpful and supportive, and pay claims in a timely manner. I highly recommend Nationwide to anybody with a cat or a dog.

LOVE Nationwide
We recently got a Rottweiler puppy and of course he needed up to date shots and well pet visit. Nationwide stood by the underwriting and covered the entire visit. A few weeks later he had to return for his last set of shots. We submitted the claim, are waiting to here back. If our 2nd experience is anything like our firs, we remain very satisfied. The only issue I had was initially I did not attach an "invoice". I was notified by Nationwide regarding my missing documentation. I then faxed my invoice, and received an email stating they had received it. A couple of weeks later, I received a letter in the mail, stating my claim was denied because I failed to include the invoice. I called immediately and the rep told me they had indeed received my invoice, and she did not know why I was sent a letter saying they had not. In a couple of weeks, it was rectified and I received my check in the mail.
