Smartest move we ever made...
For some reason...I can't tell you why...we decided to get Pet Insurance when we adopted this dog...Yuki. She has been with us for about 7 year now, and she has had more medical problems than any dog we've ever had. We have been so thankful that our Pet Insurance has been wonderful at every step of the way. Not once have they balked at a claim, and we have been very happy with the coverage. The only reason I wouldn't give a 10 is that our last 2 or 3 claims have taken a really long time to clear--about 4 weeks. A few years ago, our claims cleared quickly, but now it seems to take a month...that's too bad. Otherwise, I'm happy with this insurance, and every dog I have from now on will be insured.

they Created duplicate policies and when they realized their mistake they cancelled and started a new one. Now claiming that she had pre-existing conditions.

So happy to have pet insurance!
I'm offered Nationwide's pet insurance through my work and I am SO GLAD that I signed my dog, Bowie, up. Within the first 3 months of having Bowie, he's had two surprise visits to the emergency vet: One for a tooth removal and another for a stomach x-ray. It's been a whirlwind, but it's been incredibly helpful to not only have insurance, but Nationwide insurance. Their customer service is excellent, and they make it very easy to check in on pending claims. I do wish that claims could be filed a bit faster. It's taken a month for each of my claims to go through, which can be a bit overwhelming. Still, though, I've had no problems so far. Love it!
