NW did a fantastic job in assisting us in our time of need with our puppy and showing genuine love for our pet
NW did a great job in immediately responding to our claim and covering a significant portion of our puppy's surgical procedures. This procedure was certainly unexpected and in the end saved his life. We're grateful for NW covering his surgery and how he's more than back to his old self, happy as can be. Additionally, it was great to receive follow-up emails from NW checking on Simba and showing ultimate care and concern for our dog.

Amazing
We have had pet insurance with your company for both of our dogs. I love the low premium. Excellent customer service. Reimbursement of expenses incurred for our dogs has been a blessing. Without the insurance coverage we would be in deeper financial debt. The reimbursement time is reasonable. I love being able to have 24 hour access to my account too.

Great customer service
Recently our 12 year old lab had a serious medical issue that required a trip to the emergency vet clinic. We filed a claim which was approved and quickly processed. The claim form is very easy to complete and only required the vet to fill in a few items, thus saving them time. We were very pleased with the entire process and would highly recommend Embrace to other pet owners. Having the insurance gives us peace of mind and really helps cushion the cost of an unexpected and costly emergency.

Trupanion is a fantastic pet insurance company
I have Trupanion pet insurance on my three dogs. One was an American bulldog named Hopie Too, The other two are Faith and Charity and they are Olde English Bulldogges. When Hopie Too died of lung cancer in April 2018 at the age of seven , Trupanion was there every step of the way. Even though I am a veterinarian, I knew my own dog needed more care from a specialty center than what I could provide. The medical bills got very high but Trupanion paid 90% of her bill. My two other dogs also have issues . My one dog Faith was diagnosed with bilateral hip dysplasia in October 2014 when she was eight months old and Trupanion has been paying for her biweekly Adequan injections for the last four years. My other dog Charity has allergies and they have been paying for her Apoqel medication for the last year along with her other two surgeries in the last year. The claim form submission was very easy and reimbursement was very quickly. I highly recommend Trupanion as a veterinarian and also as a pet owner. Lisa A Mazzochi DVM

Update claims process and turn-around time
Your service is quite helpful, however multiple products are on the market and competing on price and features for account service. Online secure claims submission, e-signature, claims tracking, and document uploads are all common tools of your competition. I would say I'm satisfied with your insurance, however the process of accessing it is not competitive with your peers. Printing, hand signing, scanning and emailing documents and attachments is a poor process for 2018. As is waiting multiple weeks without status tracking etc. I imagine many of your claims are routine, however major reimbursements take what seems the same path as minor ones. If I'm waiting for $60 or $1000 reimbursement I'm still in the dark for weeks, while I've fronted you the money at no interest, for families where this is a financial hardship... Your service needs to modernize and prioritize in a way that is transparent to your clients.

Excellent and timely service
Our Border Doodle Jinny developed an immune mediated lung condition requiring multiple tests and procedures. Fortunately she is now improving and we are most grateful for the specialized veterinary care. We had purchased the full coverage policy when she was a puppy and the ability to focus on the needed care and procedures rather than on the bills has been a blessing. Nationwide has been both fair and prompt on claims processing.
