Thank Dog for Healthy Paws!
As a pet parent, you never want to see your pet (baby) sick or injured. Recently, my Great Pyrenees experienced a life threatening bacterial infection which had the potential for a fatal outcome without critical care hospitalization. Iggy was in the hospital for 11 days. From the beginning, I worked with the Veterinary Hospital, telling them I had Healthy Paws pet insurance. Thank Dog for Healthy Paws. I was able to focus on Iggy's care and treatment versus worrying about the hospital bill and if I would be able to afford care. Healthy Paws with my permission, direct paid the Veterinary Hospital. Everyone at Healthy Paws has been rooting for Iggy and each person I worked with showed me that they truly care about the animals they insure. I have 2 dogs, and I will be switching my older dog over to Healthy Paws versus his current insurance company. This thanksgiving holiday, I am thankful to have Iggy Valentine with us, feeling much better while she continues to improve. I am grateful to Healthy Paws pet insurance for allowing me to get the care needed for Iggy and focus on her medical needs, rather than focus on her medical bills. I will be recommending Healthy Paws to anyone that comes into my boutique pet store, as well as anyone I meet while volunteering for the Puppy Up Foundation. As a dog mom that has lost 3 dogs to cancer, I can tell you, that pet insurance is necessary to ensure we can do everything for our furfriends.

Exceptional service.
We have three dogs. All are insured. Customer support is easy to reach and filing claims is easy to do. Most claims are automatically filed for us by our vet, which we love! Obviously not everything is covered, but having them automatically file visits/treatments keeps up with anything that might add up to more than the deductible. When we have submitted claims, we have done so via text message. Super convenient and payouts are directly deposited into our account.

The Best idea.
Any time that I have dealt with Trupanion on any topic regarding my dog including making claims. Everyone has been most helpful, honest and willing to help me out. I did not know that an insurance was available for domestic animals. I did not have one for my first animal and now I wish I had. My second dog however as soon as we got her I put her on an insurance, and i am very happy I did. The monthly payments might sound a little high, but you have the knowledge that when your loved animal gets sick Trupanion is always there to help you out. When I got my dog she had bronchitis, and for the first few years she had to have special blood tests and xrays done, all of which is covered on your pet insurance. I make sure that whomever I am in contact with I make sure that they know about getting a pet insurance.
