Getting Trupanion was the best thing I have done for my beloved cat.
I have had Trupanion pet insurance since my cat was 8 and she is now 17. It has more than paid off to have coverage for my kitty. As she is now a very senior cat, she has had some health troubles. I would not have been able to afford her medical care without Trupanion. Having Trupanion has literally saved her life. The claims process is quick and super simple. I have never been denied coverage for the procedures and medications covered by Trupanion. I find that the company is honest and fair and feel that it truly has my cat's best interest in mind in making coverage decisions. Getting this coverage for my cat was the best thing I have ever done for her and her health. I am extremely happy with Trupanion and cannot recommend it more highly.

Thank goodness for pet insurance!
What a blessing to have pet insurance. Sadie is doing much better. Now that she is older, I can see where I might need to visit the vet more often and having the pet insurance brings peace of mind. I was very pleased with the refund on my claims.

Made life easier
My golden Miki has had a very tough year. It seems everything that could go wrong has gone wrong. From an injured tooth to a blockage to a dog bite all happening within the span of 4 days it just hasn’t been easy. But thankfully Nationwide has taken away any stress that could come from finances. It has been tough but I haven’t had to worry about how I was going to manage getting my beloved Miki the treatment he needs.

Since day one, 10 years plus ago, Nationwide has had fantastic customer service. I never deal with a computer, always a human being. All of your customer service reps are kind, caring and informative. Although my dog’s insurance is expensive this year (as he is older), it has already paid for itself. Unfortunately he’s been ill, howeverive received 90% back on every invoice, no arguments, in a very timely fashion. Thank you. I recommend Nationwide to all my friends and acquaintances! I get thank you’s all the time!

I'm glad I've signed up with Nationwide's pet insurance.
The only reason I haven't given a 10 is because it would be nice to know what step of the claim process a claim is in beyond accepted, processing and completed. I love that it's so easy to submit claims via the VitusVet app. It's quick and convenient. I've never had a reason to call customer support.
