Nationwide pet insurance has been great. I would always carry it on my pets! They are very efficient and responsive.

DO NOT BUY - DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING AND NO COVERAGE
I purchased this insurance including inherited coverage. The way the advertising worked if you got the free insurance and purchased the paid for inherited the waiting period was covered. This is deceptive. I did that and 8 months later had a claim. Claim denied due to 5 day waiting period. Really? Really? I cancelled and will not purchase for any dog or recommend.

So Thankful to have Insurance!
When we decided to get a second Great Dane, I knew we had to have insurance. Unfortunately after only having insurance for three months, my new puppy developed a mass and needed surgery. Nationwide has been so great and fast with the reimbursements. I am so thankful we got insurance, it was the best decision ever!

We have been very happy with Nationwide. It may take several weeks for a claim to be processed but have never had any issues submitting them and getting reimbursed. The direct deposit process is very easy. Thank you for all you do for our two pups.

Coverage is good. But response time is a little slow. Preventive medicine and exams should be covered as part of the regular insurance.

I chose ASPCA pet insurance after much research and after questioning others about their experiences with other insurers. The ASPCA website setup is user-friendly allowing easy claim submission. E-mails are sent providing updates on the status of a claim so there is no need to login to the website. ASPCA clearly outlines specifics if they require more information for processing the claim. Turnaround for processing is usually 7 to 10 days. Claim payments are made by check or direct deposit. Customer Service is exceptional and includes a follow-up call to check on the well-being of your pet.
