Finally pet Insurance coverage you can count on!!
We have had our little dog covered by Healthy Paws since October of 2015 and thankfully had never had to use it until February of this year. I was at home when I noticed my little girl stumbling toward me. I was instantly panic stricken as I knew something dreadful was wrong with her. I couldn't tell if she was even breathing and she was terrified! I gathered her up and rushed her to an emergency veterinary hospital. She would face a hospital stay, an MRI, an ultrasound, a spinal tap, numerous blood tests and multiple medications and because she was covered with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance we didn't have to worry about the costs we would be facing. I can't explain what a relief that was for us. We were able to focus our attention on her recovery and one month out am happy to say she is doing much better. Healthy Paws was extremely responsive and within three to four days of submitting an invoice each claim was processed and completed. Thank you Healthy Paws!

Disappointing!
Claimed never got faxes that were sent by vet. Sent all statements via USPS. Paid hardly anything. May be switching soon.

Any excuse not to pay a claim
We purchased Pets Best insurance for our puppy with an effective date of 1/1/2019. On 2/5 we took him to the vet because he was having skin issues. This was the first time he was seen for this issue. I submitted the claim to Pets Best for reimbursement. It was denied a few days later because his condition was “pre-existing” prior to the effective date of the policy. Since this was the first time Ihecwas seen for skin issues, I contacted Pets Best. They informed me that since he was treated for an ear infection in December, his hit spots and chewing his legs was pre existing. That is a reach at best. They also,said since he was prescribed Apoquel, he had an allergic issue. He was prescribed Apoquel on 2/5, the visit I was seeking reimbursement for, the first time his allergy was diagnosed. Pets Best will obviously use far reaching, ridiculous criteria to deny claims.

Life saver
This year my cat has been in and out of the vet pretty much every week. The vet bills have accumulated very quickly and I was so grateful to have Nationwide Pet insurance to help me out! Claims are easy to submit and they overall provide great services!
