Simple claim process
The claims process is very simple, I snap a photo of the vet bill and upload to my Pets Best account. My claims are processed quickly, within one week and I receive emails stating each step of processing the claim is in, from submission to payment processed.

Professional help
My claim was processed March 1, 2019 and the check was sent March 2, 2019. But as of today, March 11, 2019, I have not received my reimbursement check. I called your customer service and they were very professional and helpful. They said the check was sent out 3/2/19. Usually, you process and send the check promptly. But not this time. Your customer representative told me that I should call 3/21/19 if I have not yet received the check by then. I will follow up on 3/21/19. What happened this time around?

Best Decision Ever to Get Pet Insurance
Nationwide was the best choice in all the the companies to choose from for pet insurance. It has been so easy start to finish to provide great healthcare for my little guy. Customer service is phenomenal and it is so incredibly easy to submit a claim and am reimbursed in a reasonable amount of time. EOB's are well written and easy to understand. I have a very healthy dog thanks to Nationwide wide variety of coverage options. Wellness is a great addition to have on my dogs plan.

TruPanion paid on the spot. When I took my dog in for ab emergency.
My dog had a sharpei fever at 12 midnight. I took her to a 24hr vet hospital. I was told by the doctor that she had a fever of 105.4, my wife and I were freaking out and thinking the worst. Before taking her in to the vet, I called trupanion to start a claim. They picked up and immediately sent me a claim number through email. When I got to the hospital I gave them the claim number and they did the rest. My dog was given an ivy and a couple of meds, wer were happy to hear she would be ok. The vet handed me the bill and trupanion had paid 90% if it already. I'm very happy with the prompt response and how reliable they can be. I live my dog and will do anything for her. Thank you Trupanion.

No added stress, during a stressful event
When Sassy had to go to the vet, it was only the second time we had to take her in unexpectedly. So we were stressed to say the least. When it was all said and done we had somewhat of a hefty vet bill. We sent in our itemized receipt, and I don't believe it was longer than two weeks when our reimbursement was deposited electronically into our account. Nationwide has always been easy to deal with, and very professional during our most stressful times. We're so grateful to them and their insurance plans.

AMAZING COMPANY/REMARKABLE COVERAGE
Our decision to invest in a Nationwide policy soon after our puppy's arrival was perhaps the best decision we've ever made! We considered this option at our initial vet visit only after a seasoned tech suggested: " If you don't have health insurance, get it! Nationwide is the best. " We could not be more grateful, and frankly, even surprised by the last 18 months of generous, supportive, and hassle-free coverage. "Murphy" is perfect in every way, however he has had a myriad of chronic and serious health issues which would have been a significant financial hardship had it not been for Nationwide. Trupanion..the best decision I ever made for my dogs and my pocket.
You think nothing will happen to your pets. Well after I spent $12,000 I finally woke up. I was just a little late. Pets are part of the family and when they end up at the vet it can be costly. I happen to have a brother and sister. Consequently what happened to one eventually happened to the other. I couldn’t have picked a better pet insurance than Trupanion. They are easy to work with and their payment process is very easy. They respond immediately and answer questions.
