If it weren't for Healthy Paws, Molly would not be with us today.
Just over 2 weeks ago, Molly had a ruptured tumor on her spleen and was bleeding into her abdomen. The doctor cautioned us that 67% of these tumors are cancerous but I tend to be an optimist and wondered to myself why she couldn't be among the 33%. We have had Healthy Paws insurance for 8 years and had never used it so we decided to take a chance. Molly is one of the 33% but if we didn't have Healthy Paws, we would not have opted to pay the estimated $8,300 for a 10 year old dog. As it turned out, the bill was only $6,500 and we have already received our check for 80% minus the annual $500 deductible. They were very easy to work with and quick to respond. They checked in just about every day as they were reviewing Molly's paperwork. It was easy to download all of Molly's records, even for a senior citizen. Thank you Healthy Paws!!!

I will never have a dog without Figo again!
Scrolling through Facebook a few months ago I saw Figo. Looked into it and just on a whim, took out a policy for our Aussie. She's having some problems now. Met our deductible and i submit claims using the phone app, sometimes they are processed and approved the very same day! Payment comes out of my checking account and reimbursements go back into the checking account. I've called a few times with questions, the agents are wonderful, very helpful. I have already recommended Figo to my friends who own pets. We will never have a pet without Figo insurance. And I can use it anywhere in the US, if we are traveling we have insurance, unlike a policy through your vet, plus we have all her records if we are away and she needs to see a vet. I love everything about Figo. Even the website is really cute!

Poor communication, confusion around covering expensive prescribed dog food
We are unhappy that your review of our claims from December on took so long. Our rescue puppy was on Science ID prescription food==canned and dry that our vet prescribed. We were afraid to wean him off it for fear of recurrence of gut issues. I made several phonecalls--was told by 2 of your personnel the food should be covered. The final ruling- it was not covered. Hundreds of dollars in food bills. He must be diarrhea-free for 6 months before you'll cover food prescription. I pay for the highest coverage and am dissatisfied that I could not get a clear answer ongoing while bills racked up. A friend with a similar situation had her pet insurance covered the prescribed food. I would not recommend your plan.
