You used to do so much better

When I signed up my first dog, you were great. Claims were processed quickly and the customer service was friendly. I’m not sure what happened, so I called to let you know I wouldn’t be renewing and the person who took the call couldn’t have cared less, which showed me I made the right decision to get my pet insurance from another company. It’s really a shame because I told everyone how great you were to work with in the past.

Peace of mind

Peace of mind is the biggest benefit to our family. We never have to worry if we’ll be able to afford something needed for our dogs. I tell everyone about Nationwide! We call it our dogs’ health insurance. :) We also really like the app for submitting claims now. Very, very convenient!!

My long standing relationship with Nationwide Pet Insurance has been wonderful and will continue into the future.

I have maintained pet insurance on my dogs for over 12 years with Nationwide (previously Veterinary Pet Insurance). My most recent expense claim for my 4 year old dog Sophie was over $6000.00 which was needed for necessary back surgery. The claim processing was seamless and the reimbursement rate of 90% was substantial. For me, pet insurance has proven to be very beneficial on more than one occasion and will be continued as long as I have my furry little family members.

Submitting a claim is easy

I submit my claims via email and it's easy to attach a pre-filled claim form and also a receipt. Claims take a bit of time to process, but once they are, it's easy to transfer funds all online. Policy can be somewhat confusing as to what is covered/not covered, but they have guides online and people ready to help on the phone, which I have used before and had positive experiences with.

The company name says it all

Embrace has gone above and beyond anything I ever expected of a pet insurance company.

This review is not just for Penelope but also for my sweet, sweet baby boy Leo who died when he was only three. I spent thousands of dollars trying to determine what was wrong, including exploratory surgery and other diagnostic tools that I would not have been able to afford without pet insurance. It took me six emotional months after Leo died to finally submit claims from his treatment. Embrace walked me through the process and I received substantial reimbursement checks within a couple of weeks. Throughout the process all of the Embrace stuff I spoke with were helpful and compassionate and after learning that Leo had died they sent me a sweet sympathy card personally signed by a half a dozen of the Embrace staff. I recommend Embrace without reservation. Also a shoutout to Caravan Vet, in the Minneapolis area, who are also beyond awesome and who recommended Embrace to me.
