Everything concerning Natiowide Pet Insurance is straight forward and simple.
Customer service concerning Nationwide has been spot on. Every claim I have submitted was processed without issue, the Vitus Vet app is straightforward and simple to use when submitting claims. Status updates concerning claims submitted are helpful as well. I have nothing bad to say about Nationwide Pet Insurance, I was referred to this company by a co-worker and have no regrets concerning the decision.

Keep them healthy!
Tinker and Bucky were rescued almost 9 years ago. The past 4 years have been many vet visits and medications. We have been VPI and Nationwide customers for many years prior to their arrival in our home. In fact their policies are coming up for renewal next month at a substantial increase. I understand the need is greater as they get older justifying the increase, however the MAX for the services does not increase. We seem to always "max" out for services! Nationwide does help to an extent, there is still food and medication that is not covered. We did have a few issues a little over a year ago with Tinker's diagnosis of an FCE and her Rehabilitation plan. Most of that has worked out but Nationwide does not cover rehab for an illness? Customer service is helpful when "renewing" your policy but seem annoyed when you call with questions about a statement of benefits question. In the end Nationwide has proven to be a reputable vet insurance company.

I rarely write reviews but I am so impressed with Nationwide. Your helpful, friendly service, quick response and ease of application make me wish I could have Nationwide insurance for myself too. I also appreciate that I can call and talk to a representative instead of everything done online!

Lightning fast claim completion.
Our our six month old teacup Yorkie puppy Max hurt his leg and needed a pretty extensive surgery to repair it. Obviously My wife and I were very stressed out handing our little guy over to the surgeon. The vet bills for X-rays and the surgery added a level of stress as well until I submitted A claim to our Healthy Paws Pet insurance that we acquired for Max and his sister Daisy the day we brought them home. I submitted the claims through the Healthy Paws App and didn’t expect to have any results for quite some time but received an email the very next day saying the claims were complete and that the check for reimbursement was on its way. All my wife and I could say was Wow! We could not believe the response time and knowing that the reimbursement was on its way lifted a heavy burden off of our shoulders as this was Not an inexpensive ordeal. Not only was the claim paid so quickly but a representative from Healthy Paws named Tim Weiss emailed me to check in on Max and send us well wishes which we thought was just so kind and compassionate. Thank you Healthy Paws! We are telling everyone we know with a pet of our experience with this company. If only human health insurance was half as good as this.

Good insurer
I have had Pets Best for years! I really like them and considering how long I've had them there has never been an issue. I never have had an issue when I call in, customer service is great. Only problem and it's happened maybe 2 times in 10 years is backlog of claims. It's taken a little longer than 10 days. But seriously that's the only thing that I can find that isnt perfect and it's happened minimally.

Simply the best..
I have been a Healthy Paws customer for about 5 years now and have 2 policies, one for each of my dogs. When I purchased these policies I expected filing claims to be tedious, to be denied constantly, and to want to cancel. Let me tell you how I couldn't have been more wrong. This company is hands down amazing. Filing a claim takes me seconds online, the customer service is ABOVE top notch, they actually care, (Mary in customer care provided me with the best experience I have ever had when dealing with a company.), and my claim has never been denied. They cover what they say they will. If you do your research and read your policy, they break it down exactly how it is. No surprises. I will be a customer for life, and I will tell every person I meet who has a pet that they should be too. Without healthy paws, I would not have been able to afford the thousands in bill's my little girl has accrued this year alone. Kudos to you healthy paws, keep doing what you're doing!!
