A great value and must have for pet owners
Not long after I joined my dog tore his acl and needed surgery. MetLife Pet was great, they reimbursed 80% which was a huge relief as the surgery was well over $4000. They also reimbursed me when my dog injured his due claw and had to have it surgically removed. I’m very happy with MetLife Pet. They have been easy to work with and prompt with reimbursements. I’m so glad I enrolled in this insurance for my pets!!

My wife and I took in a stray cat in summer 2025. The cat was estimated to be about 6 months old. She is the sweetest cat but has had a number of health issues literally since the day we took her in. We have two older dogs and never bought pet insurance for them but decided to for our new kitten. MetLife has been nothing but easy to deal with in our 3 claims in the first year of the policy. Having this coverage has made these health issues much easier to deal with. MetLife has added zero stress to the process and has alleviated a lot of potential financial stress with straightforward instructions, submission process, and timeliness of reimbursements. We will definitely be extending this insurance when it's time for renewal.
