TPLO Surgery and Reimbursement

My dog recently underwent a TPLO surgery. The surgery alone was about $2900 and Nationwide had my claim back to me in just a couple weeks. When spending all of the money associated with the procedure it was great to know i would have my money back quickly!

Peace of mind

Healthy Paws if the Best

A Big Thumbs-Up for Healthy Paws!!

My 10-month old Lab, Monroe, was attacked by a vicious dog in an NYC dog run and needed two surgeries to recover. The Healthy Paws app on my IPhone made it SUPER easy to submit claims and forward appropriate documentation from the vet and the pet hospital through simple IPhone pictures. I received clear emailed updates from Healthy Paws on the status of my claims. Reimbursement for m emergency vet/pet hospital expenses came promptly in the mail and was followed by a thoughtful/friendly check-up email from Healthy Paws personnel. Only wish my own PERSONAL health care insurance worked so smoothly!

Service is fabulous, including promptness of payment!

Caisey has been an insured for 7 years. She has had 6 major procedures - hips, cancer surgeries, etc. ASPCA has covered them all. Payments on all claims has been prompt with "no questions asked". I highly recommend them.

Nationwide Cares

I've had mainly positive experiences with Nationwide Pet Insurance.It would be easier if vets worked with insurance companies upfront (before billing the customer), but I can say that from a "caring" perspective, Lu (my dog) seems to be cared about more than a human. With constant check ins, 24/7 helpline --- I feel like Lu receives better care/concern than I do from my own insurance company and doctors.
