Unfortunate that you don't cover for a previous condition dog had once before ,i.e. ear infection
It is helpful to have pet insurance to lighten the load. Nationwide has been supportive in guiding us through the claims process and respond rather quickly letting us know when the claim reached them and how to track its status.

Attitude of Gratitude
Nationwide is the best gift my Mom has given me. I have been able to get my Mazie the care she needs and keep her healthy and happy. The claim process is so easy and the reimbursement is quick and generous. I am a Vet Tech and encourage customers to purchase this insurance for their pets. Time Consuming & Processing Delay
The representative's concern for pets is noteworthy! I like that personal touch. The pet'swell-being is always in the forefront. And the representatives are always a pleasure to speak with. But the processing infrastructure of Nationwide is a never ending nightmare. From incorrect (inaccurate) denials, to following up about status, to waiting a MINIMUM of 30 days for claim payment. It has always been like this. And I am paying through the nose for the premier level policy features. But the wait time is unjustified. And nailing down some accountability for how individuals follow through with issues, leaves much to be desired. If the plan that I'm on didn't exist, then I'd be much less likely to recommend Nationwide. I would recommend "pet insurance" in general. But a policy holder must have plenty of experience to know just how to get the most out of their request for a claim. I'm going to say "no" to recommend just because I don't believe there is enough (honest) help or advice available. And that Nationwide would rather deny than approve.

Easy to file a claim and quick claim processing
So far, I've been very happy with Figo. All claims have been easy to file and I've received my checks and EOB quickly. EOBs are easy to understand. When I appealed to a claim, they fixed the issue.

Couldn't Love Figo More!
I put a lot of time into choosing a pet insurance company and I couldn't be happier with Figo! For starters they send you the cutest welcome package with an id tag and collapsible water bowl. The claim process with Figo is so simple, and even more convenient they have an app so you can file a claim wherever whenever! Typically my claims have been processed and closed within 24 hours and the payment is in my account within a week! I often wish I could insure myself on Figo!! I have and will continue to refer all my friends/family to Figo.

AKC Pet insurance is fantastic
AKC Pet insurance is fantastic. Their customer service is always friendly and helpful, even during sad times. They offer insurance for rescues and they reimburse quickly. I will never use any other pet insurance.
