Coverages and communication as promised.
Completely satisfied with Trupanion's prompt attention with the charges incurred from the surgery and diagnosis and testing appointments for our dog. Trupanion has a working relationship and networked communication with our local VCA animal vet/hospital. As hoped for, all approvals, coverages, and monetary transactions occurred as smoothly as promised and expected. My wife and I couldn't be more pleased or impressed. The ease of our transactions with the office and billing section of our vet was great thanks to the combined personnel efforts and internet/email connectivity of Trupanion and VCA. We expect the same care moving forward with the treatments yet to follow the surgical removal of our dog's cancerous anal gland. Trupanion covered the costs as our plan spelled out. No problem with the approvals or monetary trails. Although my wife and I are very pleased and relieved by Trupanion's promised coverages I do have one question. We are okay with the following area of non covered determination but wonder why the doctor ordered consultations, oncologist and surgeon, to determine a course of action after the excluded exam appointments to determine the diagnosis were not covered. After all those follow up consults are discussions to agree upon the best doctor recommended treatment. Not really an exam because they have already occurred through the previous diagnosis and testing exams. Again, we are okay with this determination but still question the category of exam vs consult after exams previous results. My wife and I want to thank Trupanion for making this whole process more comfortable for us to accomplish and much relief of all the stress involved. Our dog is part of our family and we are thankful for your help and involvement.

We have been very pleased with Tyson's insurance plan with ASPCA. They very responsive and the cost is reasonable. Claims are handled efficiently and effectively.

I had always thought pet insurance was a waste of money until my employer offered us Nationwide. I didn’t expect to get any coverage for my senior dogs two recent accidents. The process was quick, easy and a relief!

Hey ready for a 40% increase on your policy after one year of service :(
Hasn’t been easy or quick to communicate with customer service. And after only one year of use with the insurance they raised my rate 40% with no explanation. It was already expensive now it’s almost as much as my personal human insurance. Not right.

Get pet insurance!
Embrace was recommended by a friend whose cat had cancer. I am so grateful I signed up for pet insurance when I did, and should have done so sooner. Embrace has covered almost everything, from cancer treatment (surgery), to a (very expensive) emergency overnight stay at the vet. My only complaint is the pre-existing condition assessment based on some very old issues my cat had when I first adopted him. Otherwise, I’ve been amazed at how easy and quick the claims process has been.

Healthy Paws Ins gave me peace of mind.
My 9 year old Golden Retriever was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. I was so overwhelmed when I found out. I was afraid I would not be able to pay for her treatment. Thankfully she was insured with Healthy Paws Ins. I submitted my claim and I had an email response immediately letting me know they received my claim and were working on it. Shortly thereafter I received their response that her treatment would be covered at 80% minus the annual deductible of $250. I'm very relieved that my fur baby is able to continue to receive the best treatment and I wont have to worry financially.
