My first experience with ASPCA insurance was last year. I put two Himalayans on the policy. Almost immediately after I had, one of them suffered a horrible death (cancer that seemed to come out of nowhere). They sent me a hand-written sympathy card...AND proceeded to comp his monthly policy charges. No questions asked. My second experience with them came when my other pet started having health issues a few months ago. The claims I submitted were handled quickly and with no resistance. They even called me to check on how my little guy was doing and were very interested in also knowing how THEY were doing for us. Imagine if people insurance worked that way?

A week after picking out a new pup I lost my 8 yr old golden to cancer. I never wanted cost to be a factor in my decision making so I took out a policy. Everything seemed fine but behavioral issues showed that could not be corrected with training. She developed allergies and now has an eye problem. I never expected to have so many visits to the vet including specialists. Nationwide has been wonderful at all stages. Life would have been so difficult for me and my dog. Despite everything she and I are doing well thanks to Nationwide

Best decision I’ve made!
After putting my 2 year old cat down unexpectedly, I looked into pet insurance to offset the cost of a pet emergency. I now have botch of my current cats enrolled and am thankful for the coverage. I get money reimbursed for almost everything done, and if it’s not reimbursed it’s applied to a very low dollar co-pay. The customer service department and claims system are all so helpful and easy to utilize. I am very happy with my coverage!

First rate service from caring people
I am always able to get a prompt courteous answer to my questions and the claims processing time has improved dramatically this year. My dog has been quite ill this year and Nationwide has been very helpful with quick turnaround on my claims and issuance of reimbursement checks.

Peace of Mind
We are so happy we made the decision to get full coverage for our puppy, Lucy, especially for her first year. We have had 3 visits to urgent care in 6 months due to digestive issues and eating things puppies should not. Despite our vigilence in puppy proofing our house, Lucy has managed to get into things we never dreamed she would ever be interested in. Thankfully we have great pet healthcare locally. They have worked in conjunction with Nationwide to help process our claims quickly and efficiently. Thankfully, Lucy is learning every day and will survive her first year, and so will we!

Was happy and surprised on how fast and how great the service was.
I recommend anyone to get pet ins. My dog was so sick I thought I would lose her and she had all tests run and having ins. really helped me out. Certainly worth getting. I do have to remember there is a vet on this site that you can contact. I'm very happy with the insurance.
