Very easy claim process

Great experience. Submitting the claim was as easy as just sending an email out. Also got our reimbursement on time, Chase direct deposit was simple and easy too. However, before I knew I could just email my claim, I was on the website trying to do an online submission for a while -- I didn't know that you can just fill out the form and just attach it to an email to submit which was way easier than doing it on the website (I remember having to refresh my page a couple of times, the web experience wasn't very smooth).... wish this "send an email" method was a bit more upfront because I only realized I can do it this way later. That info was hidden somewhere.

No stress pet insurance

A good outcome

My cat ended up with a hefty dental bill after the vet discovered she was in need of 5 dental extractions, resulting in Vet bill north of $900. I am happy to report I received more than $600 from Nationwide after filing a claim. We had some administrative hiccups like the misspelling of my name on the check, twice. But the customer service department was happy to work with me to reissue the check. Overall, I am pleased I got the insurance and I don’t worry as much when we have to go to the vet.

Easy Process

Excellent service. I purchased the insurance almost 2 years ago and this is first time I have had to file a claim so all vet documents had to be submitted. The process for submitting the claim was very easy and the team kept me updated every step of the way. Very difficult when your pet is suffering as Bella was however, Healthy Paws helped to make the situation much better. Thank you for making this process so simple. Seamless!

Could not believe how easy this process was! Submitting the claim took less than a minute, claims were approved quickly, and once I had electronic payments set up I had my reimbursement in the bank in less than 5 days!

So easy! So fast!

I appreciate the fast and easy claim process. I was putting off making the claim because I didn't think I had all the information I'd need. Turns out it was a simple file upload and a few boxes to fill in. The only issue I had was that $17 anti-anxiety medication was not covered post surgery. It's really in your company's best interest to cover it, because if my nervous dog had pulled out her stitches I would have been back at the vet for a second surgery and making another claim and asking for more reimbursement. Fortunately that medication was inexpensive enough for us to easily absorb the cost. Aside from that, everything was awesome!

NATIONWIDE HAS GIVEN US COMFORT IN KNOWING OUR DOGS MEDICAL VISITS ARE BEING PROVIDED FOR

HAVING NATIONWIDE COVERAGE HAS ALLOWED US TO HAVE OUR NEW PUPS AND OUR OLDER DOG SEEN FOR ALL OF THEIR MEDICAL NEEDS. FROM SIMPLE VACCINATIONS, TO NEEDING SURGERY. EVEN ALLERGY TESTING HAS BEEN COVERED. GREAT TO KNOW WE HAVE THE BACKING FROM NATIONWIDE, AND THEY WILL ANSWER OUR QUESTIONS IF WE ARE UNSURE ABOUT COVERAGE

Easy claim submission, reasonable reimbursement.

My dog, Akira, had to go to the vet for a foreign object in her elbow - we had recently had some work done to our home, and likely some construction debris. The claim was very easy to submit and we received reimbursement pretty quick. Very happy Nationwude helped us with the cost of keeping Akira healthy!
