Easy Peasy!
I've had 3 dogs with policies from other insurance companies, but I've found Pets Best to be the easiest to deal with, fairest in processing claims and very fairly priced!

Never had a problem. Very fair. They are there for you when you need them. Check sent out quickly, never any fuss. I stand by this pet insurance. They are true blue.

Good coverage no issues
Nationwide does a pretty good job. I submit claims via the Vitrus vet site and have to say it’s quite difficult. It takes me forever. I don’t think it works well with iPads.

Need to cover congenital and not have caps
This past claim went very smoothly. It was a stressful time and I appreciated not having to worry about costs while making sure Piper was taken care of. The caps to diagnosis and procedures is frustrating. And not covering congenital as other insurances will. That could be a deciding factor and would have been if If thought of it. Nonetheless this claim paid fast and was easy to deal with. The prior claims were fristrating as they took a great deal of time and required all of her records. When this was the first claim beyond my deductible I found that irritating.

So grateful for the support and peace of mind
We woke up late one Saturday morning and were shocked that Lukas hadn't been awake at his normal time begging for breakfast. We didn't think much of it until he wouldn't get out of bed to eat. And then, when we could get him up, he wouldn't put weight on his back left leg. Off to the vet we went. Once we got the diagnosis and treatment plan, I put the claim through to Nationwide. I received the EOB and payment before Lukas was done healing! That's amazing! So grateful for the coverage, for the ease of use and the support of the claim. Thank you! You took a level of worry off this of this anxious pet parent. And Lukas is back to 100% - and hungry! Thank you!

I have had pet health insurance ever since one of my dogs became very ill with cancer and over the course of one month, had incurred nearly $18,000 in medical bills. I shopped around several companies for policies and talked to a number of people about their experience with other companies before choosing Healthy Paws. Even now, 8 years after first getting coverage, they are still an outstanding company. I could not be happier with the coverage, the price or the service. I think every claim I've submitted has been paid within 2 weeks. That make a big difference in my peace of mind when the bills start to stack up for medical care. I'll be a customer for as long as I have dogs and they're around to provide coverage. I wish human health insurance companies were as customer-focused, transparent, fast and friendly as Healthy Paws!!
