Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is wonderful all around.
Buying pet insurance turned out to be very smart as my young Labrador has elbow joint problems and required surgery. My Healthy Paws pet insurance company has been easy to work with, cooperative, and helpful the whole time. I love using their very automated website where I can upload my scanned invoices, receive emails confirming receipt and payment, and have their payments automatically sent to my checking account. My monthly premium is also automated. My policy coverage has worked out well for me where office exams are not covered but the big items are at 80%. I highly recommend them.

I hate to have to write this review
I have been with Healthy Paws since 2011, they have always been absolutely great and it makes me sick to have to write this. They have covered three of my beloved dogs who have passed, they were always gracious, easy to contact, paid exactly what they said they would, and even sent me sympathy cards personally signed by staff when my first two dogs passed. Their rates have always been affordable, too, until now. My rates for two young dogs, who have never had a claim in the time I've had them, are going up by over $50. When I wrote to them about it they sent back an email that they have clearly been sending to others referring to my dog, "Taco". I have never in my life had a dog named "Taco'. And when my beloved girl passed last December, they didn't bother to send a card. As their rates have skyrocketed, their customer service has bottomed out. It is truly a loss for pet owners and it's shameful. Shame on you, Rob Jackson (their CEO) for allowing this to happen. I'm in the process of switching my dog's insurance to another company.

I've had 3 dogs with policies from other insurance companies, but I've found Pets Best to be the easiest to deal with, fairest in processing claims and very fairly priced!
