Nationwide Insurance gives me peace of mind.

I've had pet insurance for many years for my pet, Nola, and Nationwide has given me quick payment turn around. They cover many injuries and also well visits and I am glad someone recommended Nationwide to me. They also send emails checking up on Nola which I find nice.

Love Nationwide Pet Insurance

All of my interactions with Nationwide have been helpful, positive and efficient. All of my questions are always answered and every claim submitted is quickly taken care of. I was very skeptical of getting pet insurance but am so glad I did. So far all of our vet visits have been for minor issues , but it makes me feel better knowing that if anything major happens, my baby Argos will be taken care of with the help of Nationwide.

Misinformation on policies

I was offered a trial at the vet the first visit with my puppu. They wanted to do blood work because he had swollen lymph nodes. I went home and started looking into the policy to see what was covered and saw the pre existing condition in the policy and the wait period. I CALLED. I explained the situation and asked if I was covered. The guy said yes because of how I received my trial. I was put at ease over the news that all the testing I'm now having to do will be covered a bit. He told me I did have to complete my sign up and pay for next month and pick my policy. I was fine doing this. Well now I get notice how none of it will be covered due to pre existing. How the waiting period wasn't waived. Do I just paid for something that wont help things we are experiencing. I plan to go online after this week and try to get my payments refunded. I can get insurance through healthily paws at my job and I'll have that incase of injury. How unlucky to bring a puppy in for an exam. His first with your personal vet and have issues that makes all this worthless.. and how upsetting it is to be told one thing then another. And the way they needed money to not lapse coverage when I called about it. I was having and recommending but I will definitely tell people to be weary.

Not as good as it looks!

I was distressed with two important issues with my policy: 1. Having both a deductible and an eligible cost cap: With long-time experience with insurances, this was the first time that both were applied. 2. Very disappointed and upset that the applied taxes were not covered in eligibility rules. The purpose of insurance is to cover the costs associated with illness or injury. Unfortunately, taxes are apart of the "real costs". Often, these costs are high enough to cause unneeded stress anc hardship. Since they are costs that are associated with the claim, they should be covered.... end of story. Just the taxes on a catastrophic injury to a pet such as mine is financially crippling!!! 3. Visits to the vet in an emergency situation should be eligible! 4. A better job needs to be done to explain the main components of the policy by sales representative to ensure they fully understand their policies. Leaving it to them to simply read themselves is inadequate. In my case, I was told about the deductible but haf no knowledge about the 90% cap or taxes eligibility until later. I fully understand that some of that blame is on me for not comprehensing what I was reading but some of the information was misleading. I am fully supportive of pet insurance but after this experience, I am not sure about recommending this company!

Very easy to file claims with a quick turn around to receive your payments.

The few times I had to call Nationwide with a question, their staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, & efficient. They were also easy to talk with. Claims are easy to file & were paid out in a timely manner.

Best Pet Insurance

Going with ASPCA pet insurance was the best decision we made. Our Bully is now 3 yrs old and unfortunately, since he was a puppy he has been through some rough times regarding his health. Luckily, ASPCA no questions asked covered all his visits and 1 major surgery he has had up to 90% reimbursed. Their customer service are super friendly and knowledgeable as well. You will have no regrets two thumbs up.

Easy and affordable

I LOVE this company. When my dog got unexpectedly sick, they came through and made the claim process very easy and stress-free! I was dreading dealing with trying to justify my dog's expenses, but I had absolutely NO issues with Pets Best! Highly recommended!!!
