Overall happy
I felt it took longer than I expected, and when there was something was wrong with the claim it took a month for them to notify me about the change that needed to happen but other than that happy with the service and have been sending people your way from my area

Best pet insurance company around!
I truly do not think I could be more thankful for Healthy Paws. They have the best system to file claims that makes it convenient, simple, and quick. They also are incredibly fast in reviewing and deciding on a claim. But what sets them apart is their customer service. We recently found out that my dog has a heart condition. Within a week, we had spent close to $2000 in vet bills. Not only did Healthy Paws promptly process our claims and send out our reimbursement checks, but they also personally reached out to me to check on how he was doing. It really affirmed that they truly care at HP. I recommend Healthy Paws to any and everyone with furry family members. I feel secure knowing that I will be able to give my boy the very best care he deserves for his entire life. Every per owner (and pet) deserves that assurance. Thanks, Healthy Paws!!!

Customers Beware!! Do not honor policy
I recently filed my first claim with this company. They denied the claim stating a 14 day grace period, which the policy clearly states a 3 day grace period for an injury!! They denied the prescription reimbursement for pain medicine. Which was also covered under the policy. There was no arguing with the lady, she just kept saying the same written message for all claims, denied!!!! I cancelled my policy with this company, obviously they want your monthly premium but find any and all excuses to not pay anything! Once again I have the policy downloaded and it clearly states a 3 day grace period!

Peace of mind for your pet!
Trupanion gave me the peace of mind to get the appropriate emergency care for my English Springer Spaniel. I did not hesitate to take him in and it saved him from likely dying a slow death from heart damage - he is fine now - but I didn't worry about the decision to help him. Claims could not be more simple to do and fast in response - Trupanion - it's a must and after having to use it - it's a keeper for life!

No regrets on choosing FIGO!
I researched pet insurance for the first time when I got my Shepherd/Pit mix puppy early last year because it was clear early on he was a power chewer. My black lab had been a similar chewer and experienced two major surgeries due to inappropriate 'gastronomic adventures', chewing up and eating a tennis ball and then part of a toy he had destroyed in record time. Dewy has not eaten any of his toys, but was diagnosed while still a young pup with hip dysplasia. FIGO has been great, helping us pay for his diagnostic tests, medications and physical therapy. Hopefully with the care we have been able to give him, surgery won't be needed, but if it is, we know that FIGO will be with us. The claim process is easy, communications quick and clear, and claims have been quickly closed. Couldn't ask for more!

make this company your last choice
Pros: - none that I could find after 2 1/2 years. I cancelled my insurance. Cons: - you have to call or email repeatedly on every issue (when you think it's resolved it reverts back to the original problem) - very slow in paying (up to 2 months) - they deny most claims (usually labelled as pre-existing) - most of their staff are not very helpful (the ones that are are great but they're far and few between) - the helpline is not 24/7 (Monday to Saturday during the day only) Insurance is a business. Businesses need to make money but customer service is equally as important. Pets + Us fails miserably in this area. Their culture is frustrate someone to no end with repeated email while doing nothing then take a long time reimbursing them. Make this company the last one on your list.

So grateful for Healthy Paws Insurance!
My dog torn his ligament in his hind leg, playing with another dog. We tried medication and rest. While this didn’t work, it was in his best interest to have surgery. I’m am so grateful to have this insurance! The process was simple, I was updated daily on the claim and the check came in the mail promptly. They also sent me a email, wondering how my boy was doing. Much appreciate for their thoughtfulness.
