Grateful to Healthy Paws
Healthy Paws has been a true blessing! I've never had pet insurance and decided to give Healthy Paws a try six years ago when I adopted my kitties, Salsa and Queso. Salsa wound up needing knee surgery in August and I wasn't sure if the surgery would be covered by her insurance. The claim was processed quickly and the funds (80%) were deposited within a few days. It's so easy to file a claim and the claims are processed so quickly! I'm beyond grateful to Healthy Paws!

Terrible customer service!
I have been trying to close my account for months with no success. Your service is very ineffective and expensive. Nothing is covered from our usual pet expenses and you make it impossible to chat with a human. Finally, I thought my account had been closed after lack of payment (i received an email to that effect) and thought I was finally free. Only to find out I got charged three months later, for 3 combined payments, which by the way were a lot higher than my known monthly fee. I need my account closed for good and the last payment reversed asap.

My experience was excellent with Spot Insurance for two important reasons. First they showed compassion for my dog and myself. Second they acted quickly. I submitted my invoices and they took care of the rest. As a follow up, they sent an email expressing their compassion and later made a personal call checking up on me. I appreciate everything they did knowing how difficult my situation was.

Hands Down the BEST Pet Insurance
I’ve been with Healthy Paws for over 15 years, and they’ve been absolutely incredible every step of the way. This past year has been one of the toughest for my senior dog—she’s battled a bone infection that may have reached her knee implant, histoplasmosis, and now bone cancer. Each diagnosis has been painful, expensive, and emotionally draining, but thanks to Healthy Paws, I’ve never had to hesitate about getting her the care she needs. Their claim process is effortless, their communication is clear, and reimbursements are unbelievably fast—often within just a couple of days. There’s never any hassle, never any runaround (which I have experienced with 3 other pet insurance companies over the years)—just genuine support and compassion. Because of Healthy Paws, I’ve been able to focus on what really matters: making my dog comfortable and giving her the best possible quality of life. The peace of mind they’ve given me during such a difficult time is something I’ll never forget. People often complain that premiums go up significantly as their pets age and that's true, they do. You have to plan for that. But I can tell you that in the past 10 months, our vet bills have totaled nearly $20,000 and Healthy Paws has reliably and quickly reimbursed us according to our plan, without fail!
