Great experience filing my first claim

It was supper easy to file the claim and provide additional documentation, received a quick response, and the funds were in my count within 6 days.

Overall very satisfied; however their app is glitchy

Overall, I am delighted with Pets Best and the process of filing claims and managing my pet's account. The main problem I'd love to see the company address is its app. It is not reliable; it's very glitchy when trying to submit claims, and it works 10% of the time. However, when using the website, it works 90% of the time. Once a claim is filed, Pets Best is pretty quick to process and apply the benefits.

These guys are very reliable, as soonest you submit the invoice, they start to process it. And they give you a breakdown and the money of their share ASAP without any hesitations or any problems. I truly recommend!

The process for reviewing a claim and the need for medical records from the vet

I received several emails that more documents were needed. I did scan and email my receipts but it seems medical records need to be requested by Fetch Pet from the vet’s office. I really don’t know if veterinarians have any staff person delegated to working with insurance providers in order to provide the records needed. The emails to me about documents needed seemed unnecessary. I think one email to your customer is sufficient-explaining the claim is being reviewed and medical records have been requested by Fetch Pet. Thank you. I am a new insured, and have never had pet insurance for my pets before. Please accept my input as an objective comment. It is not meant to be critical. I am very grateful for this coverage.

Worth the coverage!

I’ve had Trupanion insurance on my dogs for years. I’ve been blessed that the lab never needed to use it but lived a good life. The Havatsu has only needed it in this year. His dental extractions were denied even though he always had good dental hygiene but began having issues from a malformation in his bite. Trupanion was great in getting his records as best they could. Many of the vets he had seen for regular checkups and vaccines were closed after the pandemic. This latest issue was covered and even though we don’t have the final results yet he is doing well and Trupanion is working directly with the specialist’s office. Thank you.
