Terrible Claims and Refund Process
It's taken weeks, if not months, to get any sort of resolution on a claim. Not just slow, but no communication. Really regret making the switch. Barely a costs savings and certainly not one worth the terrible service.

Awful process
Perts best are terrible. They took 5 weeks to deny my claim because they didn’t receive the records from the vet. They didn’t attempt to contact me and the vet sent the records to their email twice. They have some issues receiving emails. I don’t understand why I wasn’t contacted to sort it out. Now I have to wait another 5 weeks and had to fill out the same claim process again. Avoid like the plague.

game changing for my dog
Having pet insurance has been a game changer for the care I’m able to provide for my dog! When I rescued Lucy (she was 4 months old and in great health!) I hoped I’d never need it but always wanted to have it, just in case. Over the years (Lucy is almost 11 years old!!) Healthy Paws has come in SO clutch. Between a mast cell tumor removal (success!), emergency surgery to remove a foreign object (a rock!!), 2 ACL repairs, a splenectomy and other unexpected vet visits/expenses, I truly couldn’t do this without Healthy Paws. I’m so happy with my plan, the easy-to-use mobile app, the friendly customer service and the quick turn around time after claims are submitted. I’ve literally saved thousands of dollars and Lucy is doing wonderfully. 10/10!

I sent in my invoice and the claim was processed within a week. I’m happy with the quick service . The only reason I didn’t give a higher rating was because I had a hard time sending additional information for the claim.

Not great
The website wouldn’t let me log in for a month and a half in browser and through the app. I sat on hold for an hour and IT got my IP address and assigned that to my account and it finally worked. It takes over a month lately to have claims processed. I think ManyPets was best but I can’t switch now thanks to preexisting conditions.
