Updated to a solid 2 stars. I have canceled my insurance through this company due to poor communication

Having had pet insurance on my 10 year old dog with another company with no issues I thought about insuring my new puppy with them to find out that the plan I had was no longer available. I decided to try Figo because of the relationship with Costco. Figo has very poor customer service and support. After submitting a claim they asked for additional information from the vet which the vet provided. Figo failed to update the claim or communicate with me as to the status of the claim. In the app it was just marked as "Done!" It took multiple phone calls (50+), emails and chats over the course of a month to finally get the claim addressed

A huge help for my diabetic dog

Trupanion has been awesome. My dog was diagnosed with a complicated case of diabetes a few months ago, and this is all very new to me. The support chat team members have been very patient and helpful with all my questions, and reimbursements have been quick. No complaints! It's definitely a huge relief to know that my dog is covered and I can focus on getting him healthy instead of stressing about finances.

Awful

Awful! Used companion, lemonade, pumpkin, anything but this company. They don’t speak English, they can’t interpret medical records versus claims, they’re very slow to reimburse and they keep canceling things or closing accounts. I have seven dogs on their account and I’m going to cancel my services with all of them and switched to a different company. Save yourself, and don’t use these people.
