Denied my claims
My main coon broke her femur, I submitted claims because she needed to have surgery and metlife denied my claim. They claim that the doctor notes stated it was a pre existing condition. I reached out to my vet and they reviewd the notes with me and it doesn't say once in the notes that it was a pre existing condition. Definatly think twice before choosing this company. They lost my buisness indefinitely.

Efficient
I called and used the app. My claim was processed efficiently and Met Life communicated via email and I was easily able to see my claim status in the app. When I called the customer service rep was friendly, professional and helpful. Can’t ask for more than that

Metlife is TOPS
I work in the veterinary field where I am exposed to many pet insurance companies that our clients have enrolled in. Metlife is stellar in all areas especially in their phone presence. Last year we rescued a 5 month old puppy when 9 days later he chewed up a wooden hair brush, a pen, box of tissues and part of a book. Due to the sharpness of the pen and brush he had to have full surgery. MetLife did not question any of the process and reimbursed us the 90% that we had enrolled in. We highly rec Metlife and are customers forever!

I had an unexpected heart issue for my pet that was stressful and led to expenses that I was not sure will be handled by HelathyPaws. The process to submiot claim took 2 minutes and was notified it was approved within 2 days. They even followed up by email to check on his health! Very satisfied with this experience.

Rosie's Clim
I've had 2 other Claims for Rosie that went very well. The most current one had a lot of complications and had to make several calls and ask the Vet to send in information several times. I finally got Samantha who was GREAT and understood what was wrong and got a supervisor involved and got my Claim reviewed and finalized quickly- Many Thanks to her and the supervisor who got this over the Finish Line!! This is the slowest, poorly organized company EVER! They have a wonderfully easy claim service followed by PITIFUL WAIT TIME! A month to process claims? Find another company!

Friendly, helpful, well worth it
We've had Healthy Paws coverage since we got our dog as a puppy, and have been very grateful for it. Claims are processed quickly and customer service is friendly and helpful. It's been well worth it—our dog had two unexpected health issues last month with bills that totaled more than $15K, and Healthy Paws reimbursed us at 80% making it a much less stressful situation.
