East claim submission and fast payment
After emergency treatment for a dog bite, we were left with a few thousand dollars in vet bills. I submitted a claim directly through the portal by filling out a few questions and uploading the pdfs of the bills. I was able to check the status of my claim right in the portal. Once a decision was made, it was explained very clearly and the payment came through in a few days. Thank goodness we had Pets Best!

A Complete Scam - Avoid Pets Best at All Costs!
If you’re considering Pets Best Insurance, save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. They have made every excuse imaginable to avoid paying a single claim, twisting the vet’s words and inventing loopholes to deny coverage. Even with clear documentation from my veterinarian, they somehow found a way to reinterpret or outright dismiss it. It felt like they were more focused on protecting their profits than providing the coverage they advertise. Every claim turned into a drawn-out battle, only to be met with another denial and zero accountability. This is not pet insurance—it’s an expensive illusion. I paid my premiums on time and trusted them to have my pet’s back, but all I got was stress and wasted time. If you value your money and your peace of mind, do yourself a favor and steer clear of Pets Best. They’re the worst.

Pets Best pet insurance
I’ve been a customer for about 11 years, I have two dogs, I like Pets Best because you can choose your coverage and deductible, they also offer a wellness plan that covers vaccinations and other preventive services. My account is easy to access and navigate. Uploading my vet bills are easy, once you upload your bills they immediately give you a response that your claim has been received. They also notify you if there is additional information needed and if there is a delay in processing.

Both VCA and Pets Best are fantastic. They both care about my fur baby as much as I do.
Lifesaver
PB has literally saved our dog’s life. Our dog was diagnosed with a challenging condition 5 months ago. We were able to move forward with treatment without delay thanks to our PB coverage. They’ve covered everything their policy said it would without harassing us or our vet for exhaustive information. Claims are easy to file from your phone. I have no complaints about PB and recommend them to everyone.

Don’t get wellness insurance.
Our claim was denied because it was not administered by a veterinarian. So the vet ordered the shot, but since their tech is the one that actually gave it, the service wasn’t covered. Ridiculous. Can’t cancel service and ever since I raised questions, every claim has been denied for silly reasons like this.
I love Pets Best!
I used to have a different pet insurance before and getting in contact with them, or filing claims was always so difficult. Ever since I switched over to PetsBest, I really enjoyed my time. It is unfortunate that I've had to take both of my cats to the emergency vet recently, but I definitely did not stress about finances, knowing that PetsBest had my back, was very responsive, And reached out to me within 24 hours if the claim wasn't filled out properly. This allowed me to fix my issue in an efficient manner and get paid back again very quick. Their invoice processing is very clear as to which funds they give back. I highly recommend PetsBest for everyone.

Sienna’s progress
My Belgian Sheepdog, Sienna, was diagnosed with brain encephalitis last January and was in treatment until May. Pets. Best Was responsive in handling her medical bills in accordance with her her plan. She had a relapse of the encephalitis in October of this year. Although the response time for reimbursement had been slower than I would like, I am generally quite satisfied with how this company has responded. I would give them an overall rating of very good/excellent.

"On November 19, I took my dog to the vet for lameness. He was x-rayed and given medication. Two days later on November 21 I got an email explaining everything and showing the amount that I would be reimbursed. On November 27, it was deposited into my account! I was totally shocked at the speed that this claim was resolved. Great job! Thank you!"
