Grateful for great coverage!
We are so grateful for the coverage that Healthy Paws has provided for our amazing dog, Wally. We didn't know what was wrong with him but he was limping and stiff and lethargic, and it was getting worse. It turns out the vet had to do lots of (expensive) testing but they found out that he had TWO tick-borne illnesses! We would never have known if we hadn't been able to get the blood tests. Healthy Paws helped cover the costs, the process is so easy via the app, and Wally is already feeling tons better and on the road to recover and returning to his sweet silly self. Thank you, Healthy Paws! I would highly recommend.

Thank GOD for Pets Best Insurance!!
My dog unfortunately got very very sick unexpectedly. We had no idea what happened, but we needed to act fast. He needed a week in the hospital on IV fluids, tons of medications, sonograms, blood work, ultrasounds. It was $4,000!!!! Being a single parent, this left me in a VERY bad situation as I had to use most of my rent, car payment, and car insurance money to pay this! I submitted the claims ASAP. Pets Best was amazing! They were so quick to approve and explain each claim, and 80% of my money was refunded in about 2 weeks!!!!! I was able to be on time with all my payments I had borrowed from, and gave my dog the treatment he needed to make a complete recovery! If it wasn't for Pets Best, I honestly don't know what would have happened - I couldn't have done this! THANK YOU!!!
Awful company
Awful company. Downgraded my policy without my consent, screwing my dog over at the end of her life. I don’t know how these people sleep at night, knowing that they hurt people and their Innocent pets.

Since dealing with PetsPlusUs for the past six years, we have been given excellent care and attention. Whether in our dealing with a service rep over the phone or submitting a claim, we have continued to receive prompt, professional and efficient service.. In the past year our pet had a serious illness that required hospitalization, diagnostics and care. Our claims were submitted and addressed quickly and to our complete satisfaction. The communication flow confirming receipt of the claim, the processing of the claim and the approved reimbursement helped us know we were in good hands.. The client portal is a great tool and facilitates the process immensely. Than you PetsPlusUs. Keep up the excellent work.

SO GLAD I canceled early and found out what crooks Pet's Best are before spending hundreds of dollars
The "30 Day" money back guarantee is a big fat lie. I signed up For Pet's Best on March 6. I decided not to keep it and called today, April 5 -- day 30 -- on my break at work to cancel it. I was told I would NOT be refunded because the cancelation date would be TOMORROW, day 31 and that I needed to call YESTERDAY -- day 29 -- to cancel, as the cancelation date would be today. WTF? I talked to someone YESTERDAY because I had questions, and she didn't correct me when I said I knew I needed to decide whether or not to keep the policy and tomorrow (today) was the last day to cancel and get a refund. I just went online to my account, and it says I have no pets and no active policies. Sure as F looks like my policy was canceled TODAY, day 30, not tomorrow as the customer service rep claimed. I'll be contesting the charge with the credit card company, filing a complaint with the BBB and the attorney general, and calling Pet's Best on my day off to inform them of them complaints I've filed and that I will warn clients at the dog training/daycare facility I work at to stay away from their company.

The will deny claims that clearly meet the terms and conditions. They are the worst of what an insurance company can be, one that just seeks to take your money for profits but don’t think they need to follow their own terms. Customer service and claim reps are unhelpful. Terrible company.

Saved our pup
Our dog was recently on a walk in the woods where she got impaled on a stick through the chest. There have been several times where we questioned if she was going to make it or if we had to say good bye to our favorite dog. Fortunately she has been able to pull through and thanks to our pet insurance we have been able to financially provide the care our dog has needed. Without pet insurance and the timely manner that our money has been reimbursed, the financial burden that we would have faced might have gone beyond the care we could have afforded for our girl. We are very grateful for pet insurance and grateful at the ease in which we have been able to file the claim and receive the reimbursement.

Avoid at all costs
One month into my policy some customer service representative cancelled our policy - despite taking our money and rejecting claims for our puppy. We chose the highest level of cover for her. Its not just about policy, its about how hard it is to manage your pets needs and your claims and this company is a disaster. Avoid this provider at all costs, make life easier for yourself.
