Quick and effortless
My breeder had set up the puppies with the 6 week trial plan. Within the first week of the puppy being home he had stopped eating. The vet diagnosed him with lack of gut motility and he needed to spend over a day at the emergency hospital on IV fluids. Pets plus us reimbursed for the maximum amount of the trial plan ($1000.00) and were very helpful to get me setup on a permanent plan which also gave me the first month free. Since I moved from trial to permanent with no lapse in coverage, his issue isn’t considered a pre-existing condition moving forward. The claim was processed within days and I received my cheque promptly. Great service!

My dog Montana has been diagnosed with Allergies two years ago. So every few month, when Allergy season starts, she starts biting her Paws. She gets a shot. It is so easy to file a claim. I am very satisfied with the service I receive, that's why I added my third dog to the policy. "
Easier than Insurance for People!
I've had PetsBest for all of my animals the past 20 years. They always pay what they say they will, and the turnaround time is super quick. It has always been such a great customer experience. I recommend them to all of my friends and family.

Reimburse
I have had this insurance for at least 12 years and have several dogs on it. Previously things were wonderful. I received my reimbursement in a timely manner. I got the most expensive policy and until lately I praised Healthy Paws to everyone. I have been very happy until lately. I have submitted two claims and I will be submitting another one very soon. One was submitted in January and the other one in March. I have not received a reimbursement check on either one. I have called and of course it’s somebody different in a different place. For my January submission I was told it was approved but never got where ever the checks are printed. It was spooked to be corrected and here I am almost 4 months later still waiting. I had submitted another one in March but was told they didn’t have record of that. What is going on there.? My premiums are very expensive. I would appreciate a response to this since I can’t talk to anyone that can help. Because of this I have given a very low rating.

To Whom It May Concern, I brought home a sweet Havanese puppy named Peanut from a local breeder who had been breeding for over 30 years. We instantly fell in love with him. Although, I was initially unsure about getting pet insurance, I ultimately decided to move forward with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance and I’m so glad I did! A year later, Peanut began having seizures and was diagnosed with epilepsy. I reached out to the breeder, who assured me that in all her years of breeding, she had never encountered a dog with this condition, Peanut was her first. As time went on, Peanut was also diagnosed with liver disease, then heart disease, and most recently, bowel disease. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. To date, Peanut's has had over 220 claims. Without insurance, I can’t imagine how I would have managed the financial burden. Not only does Healthy Paws consistently and efficiently cover claims, but they also take the time to check in on Peanut. They treat him like family, and that level of care means the world to me. I wholeheartedly recommend Healthy Paws to anyone with a pet. Their support has allowed me to focus on loving and caring for Peanut, rather than worrying about overwhelming vet bills. Great Support During A Tough Time
Our beloved golden retriever had a rough year. After presenting with some very scary symptoms that required a lot of testing, she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that required more involved treatments. Throughout this process, and within the guidelines of my plan, Pet's Best reimbursed us quickly and efficiently. The process of submitting the claim online, checking the claim status, and receiving the decision on the claim was as easy and clear as it could be. They always delivered on what they said they would. (if only human health insurance agencies would follow suit!). I am very grateful for Pet's Best!
Kato the Potato
I want to start off by saying I'm very grateful to have found PetsBest through my place of employment. Kato is my 6yr old Siberian Husky (as of 03/01/2025), and he's my world. I'd never imagine walking into a Vetinarian's office and feeling like I can properly have his health assessed without taking a massive hit to my savings. Everyone at the vet absolutely loves my handsome boy! My only regret, is that I didn't find PetsBest sooner. Kato had an unrelated 'brother' that had to be put to sleep a couple years ago. At 2 years old, Kai, my other Siberian Husky, experienced his first seizure one morning in our bed. I have never seen a seizure before, and I was in complete panic trying to understand why my baby boy was crying and violently shaking on my lap now as I'm yelling his name and holding him, unsure if there was anything I could do to help. All I could afford for care, was medicine that would alleviate the seizure symptoms, but also would inevitably shut down his organs. At 6 years young, I had to have Kai put to sleep because his liver was failing, and his seizures had now gotten to a point where I would have to watch him experience 5+ seizures back-to-back immediately after coming out of his previous convulsions. We stayed up all night watching: A Dog's Purpose, A Dog's Way Home, and A Dog's Journey before his final day. To this day I beat myself up mentally and emotionally, because there just had to be more I could have done for him. This thinking has lead to an irrational fear that I may not be able to protect Kato, but that fear has dissipated after submitting my first few claims with Kato's coverage. It was such a quick and painless process to understand Kato's benefits, and submit my claims. Everyone at PetsBest did the rest. My girlfriend and I plan on getting another puppy now, and I can guarantee the first thing I will do for that baby boy or girl, is promise to keep them safe, and provide coverage from PetsBest for them too. So thank you again, for all that you do, and I can't wait to one day take advantage of the coverage for Kato to receive chiropractor and acupuncture treatment! :D
Our Dog is Alive Because of Pets Best
My dog suffered a serious injury which affected his ability to walk, and to have a good quality of life. The cost of the surgery was thousands of dollars. Where most people would have to say goodbye to their pet because of the cost, we didn't. We didn't even have to consider it. Our dog had two surgeries and is on his way to a better life and PetsBest reimbursed us within 2 weeks both times. We have had Pets Best for our pets for years and we are so grateful the only choice we had to make about our dog's injury was what day to get his surgery.
