Best Cat-only Cat Vet anywhere in Arizona! They are so nice and informative and want to help. The Veterinarians are from Wisconsin so they aren't the typical 'run of the mill' Arizona corporation Vets. I will never trust anyone else with my Cats in Arizona! It is clean, staff was so friendly and accommodating even when they were close to closing, they didn't make us feel rushed! I also was surprised that it was not as pricey as other vet offices. I thought since it is located in Scottsdale I would be broke after! Lol. But that is not the case at all. Everything in the waiting room is set up for Cats! Smells good. They have Feliway diffusers out! Which my cat loves! I own an Exotic Shorthair and a Ragdoll cat. I would not trust anyone with my Exotic due to other vet offices being unfamiliar with the "Persian Cat" breed. I heard awful stories of stuff happening to Cats at Dog and Cat-friendly Vets. I wanted Cat ONLY and that's what I found with this clinic! I'm so happy I found them and they squeezed my baby girl in for a check-up! Super happy!

SCC is the only veterinary clinic that I’ve taken my cats to for the past 9 years. They are kind and gentle with my fur babies. I truly appreciate their superior level of care and attentiveness!

I highly recommend bringing your cat to the Scottsdale Cat Clinic. My two cats have always received extraordinary care here. More recently my cat Lemon was vomiting and not eating or drinking. We didn’t know what was wrong with her. The veterinarians and staff at the clinic provided such incredible care for her. They were able to figure out what was wrong with her and provide surgery. They have incredible communication and after the surgery we were in constant communication with updates on my cat Lemon. They went above and beyond. Tara who works there is a real life angel. They worked with me with pricing and financing. Everyone that works there LOVES cats and are incredible humans. I will never take my cats anywhere else. I will forever recommend this clinic to everyone I know in the area who has cats. You will not regret taking your cats here. The only reason my cat Lemon is still alive is because I took her here.

This is my all-time favorite vet out of any place I have ever been to! The fact that it's cat-only seems to put my boy at ease (as much as he can be at the vet's) as he doesn't have to deal with other animal noises/smells. The doctors and techs are skilled, kind, and caring. They know how to handle my cat whether he's being spicy or nice and never push him beyond his limit. Previous vets I've been to have had to break out the heavy-duty gloves, but my cat greets these guys with his tail up. The care he's received from here has been exceptional, especially when he was going through highly stressful bladder issues. The vet worked with me to identify potential triggers, understand his medication, and gave me a lot of options in terms of treatment and cost. I love that they're very upfront about prices and will print out estimates for you to look over before doing anything. They also check on your cat's well-being after the appointments, just to make sure everything's going okay even after they've been seen! The only reason I don't give five stars is because their older front desk receptionist (brown hair, middle-aged) is a bit thorny. I work in customer service so I get it—people are annoying. Her attitude, however, puts a stain on the otherwise bright reputation this place has. She was very brusque with me when I called before my appointment to let them know I was running a bit late (if you've ever tried to wrestle a hiding cat into their carrier, you know how it is). I completely understand it's on me for being late and you absolutely don't have to be sunshine and rainbows all the time, but repeatedly sighing heavily and acting as though I'm personally inconveniencing you before I even begin talking is unprofessional. Even more so if you don't know the circumstances behind why someone is bringing their animal to the clinic. I received this same attitude upon checking in for my appointment and checking out. Additionally, while checking out, I witnessed her being rude to an older gentleman who seemed confused and upset about his cat's medication. Again, I get that people can be frustrating—especially when it comes to money—but there was zero effort to deescalate. If you're going to be the first and last interaction someone has with a place, you represent them by default. This means having the patience, empathy, and understanding to deal with these situations. She could have taken the time to re-explain why his cat needed the medication, what the price is based on, potential alternatives, or literally anything else, but she instead chose to repeatedly say: "Your cat doesn't have to take it—up to you," in a highly dismissive tone. If I was having doubts about my cat's medication or this was my first visit, I would not have wanted to talk to her. And if I was treated the way that man was, I'd be finding a new vet, regardless of how amazing the doctors are. On a different note, the younger receptionist seemed very kind. For people complaining about costs: pets are expensive. Not doing any preventative care/only taking them in when absolutely necessary is going to be expensive. Vets themselves also do not usually determine the cost of a medication. Again, this place reviews prices with you beforehand and gives you alternative options if you decline a treatment, so it's not like it's a hidden surprise. I'd recommend pet insurance, especially if you suspect your cat is dealing with a new condition.

I have a lot of respect for vets & a lot of love for my cat. It's been disheartening for me because in the past, different vets have either gotten really frustrated with my cat or treated him like he's a big problem because he gets very anxious about sanitary trims. I decided to try a cat clinic and chose this one. I was very thankful to the receptionist for getting us in so quickly and for giving great advice. Then, when I got there, my cat was treated very well. You could tell everyone understood cats. The atmosphere was very calm, and there were cat toys in the room. My cat, who is always very scared at the vet, wandered around the room, and was very curious. He let people pet him and everyone said he did really well. I was thrilled that he had a good experience. Also, in the past, after sedation, he would meow all night. This time he was very quiet and slept soundly. No issues at all! I am very glad we decided to come to this clinic! They rock!
