Trupanion is AWESOME!
Trupanion is AWESOME! It's such a relief to know that whatever happens to our boy that we are covered by a pet insurance that truly goes out of its' way to take care of us. The form is easy to fill out to get reimbursed, their responses are fast, and if there are any questions about a submitted receipt it's clear and supportive.

They will deny your claims!
I had an accident only policy. Submitted a claim for a leg injury, diagnosed by my vet as a soft tissue injury. Embrace denied the claim, claiming it was an illness and therefore excluded. My vet added more documentation for an appeal, but that was also denied- except I never received notification that it was denied. This was my first claim after years of paying policy premiums. Very disappointed.

Do not make the mistake of hiring this…
Do not make the mistake of hiring this insurance company because once you get a claim, it’s pre-existing and you’re screwed with another insurance claim because it would be pre-existing and wouldn’t be covered. This is the worst Insurence Company ever they lie to you. They tell you one thing and it’s another and then you have to call call call there’s always technical problems. They tell you something is covered and it’s not and then it is covered but they make you wait till the end like if you buy packages for rehab and then they deny them all after they say that they’re gonna approve them. They are the worst Insurence Company ever.

"I have had Pets Best for five years now. Every claim has been handled quickly and without any hassle. My dog went through cancer treatment and I was relieved to see that so much of his care was covered. When he recently passed, the representative was incredibly compassionate and refunded me the premium I had already been paid. This was totally unexpected but made this sad time a little easier. I will continue to use Pets Best for my other dog and any dog I own in the future."

I can’t imagine having to make a decision about getting your pet care based on cost
My Dog had liver surgery which had complications. He was discharged and then readmitted to the Animal Hospital for 5 days. The final bill was a fortune ($20K +) and not an amount that most people just have sitting around. I submitted 2 claims to Healthy Paws via their app and both were processed and paid out within a week. The reimbursement payout was exactly as laid out in my specific policy (90% reimbursement after deductible). I don’t know what we would have done had we not had pet insurance. I can’t imagine having to make a decision about getting your pet care based on cost. Healthy Paws really came through for us.

First time purchasing pet insurance
First time purchasing pet insurance. It’s a bit overwhelming when you sign up for quotes and suddenly your in-box is filled with quotes! I was so confused and called the 1st one in my email list which was Fetch. I had a wonderful rep, Christopher McCrae who was very thorough and explained everything to me. I feel confident that I made the best decision for my 2 fur babies. Thanks Christopher for answering all my concerns.

Our experience has been awful
Our experience has been awful. If it’s not one thing it’s another. You do ALL the work and they don’t communicate well about what’s still missing. The web site is hot garbage. Since the last update the double authentication doesn’t remember your device and the site itself has been broken for over a week. Can’t view anything or submit anything. Just get errors. Save yourself the headache and use a different company.
