Dakota has a mass on his aorta. Its symptoms came on suddenly, and it cannot be removed. A surgical procedure will give him a chance of a year or more with no restrictions. We are devastated. Because of Embrace, we are confident that we can give Dakota the best chance possible without also incurring a significant debt. Their claims process is easy and quick. If you have a question, their CS reps are wonderful. Thank heaven I purchased Embrace Insurance.

Relief knowing we can afford the care needed!
We had never considered pet insurance before but felt we should research once our new pup, Kipper, came home with us. Trupanion seemed to have the coverage that suited our needs best. We found out that Kipper had severe hip dysplasia at 6 months of age. Knowing we had Trupanion, we didn’t hesitate getting the medical help and surgeries Kipper needed. What was even better for us is we didn’t have to pay the full surgery costs up front. Trupanion worked with the Pet hospital to cover their portion of the bill. A bigger relief yet! Thank you Trupanion!

Awesome coverage prompt payment!
My dog, Piper was diagnosed with Addison’s disease when she was only 14 months old. Trupanion has supported us thru this disease for over 4years now. Her medicine is over $100/mo and they never bat an eye at holding up their end of the bargain. Thanks Trupanion for helping take the very best care of my best friend!!!

Amazing service, very quick turn around time on claims
My dog is six and I’ve had Trupanion since she was 14 weeks old. They are amazing and when the u expected happens they are there to help. The turn around time on claims is better than human insurance! I usually receive an email with 24 hours stating the coverage for my claim and receive a check in a week. I will continue to refer my friend to Trupanion.

Without Trupanion my dog would not be here anymore
Without Trupanion my dog quite literally would be gone. Max is a great dog but he has one bad habit. He eats socks. Now usually they come back one way or another but this time he got hold of my dress socks. So this time the sock got stuck in his lower bowel. I took him to the emergency vet (these things never seem to happen during regular business hours). First question from them was how was I paying. We didn’t have an emergency fund so our comes the credit card. Max needed surgery to remove the blockage or he would die. I asked the vet what happens if I can’t pay right away. She said he would be put down. At the time Max was 3 and a great dog except for this problem. Thank goodness for Trupanion. The procedure ending up costing over $3k of which we recouped almost all of it. Then the stupid dog did it again. And then a 3rd time while he still had staples from the 2nd surgery. For the 3rd surgery we had to go to Guelph university. All told, just for these procedures, we spent almost $10,000. Money we didn’t have. Yes he’s just a dog. But he is also family. Trupanion helps make difficult choices a bit easier. Max just turned 12 on Christmas Day and he is older slower and still amazing. Because of Trupanion we have had max for at least 8 more years.

Great care and communication
We have been using Embrace and have had very positive experiences with our 8 y/o shar pei Keaton for about four years. We rescued his sister Addison last spring and added her to the policy. Although our coverage has its challenges with her past history and the pre-existing conditions of shar pei, we have been very satisfied overall with coverage, communication and even appealing several claims. The Customer Service staff and the adjusters are articulate, helpful and responsive. We explored changing carriers when we added a second dog but decided that Embrace was still the best choice and have not regretted our decision.

So very happy w/ my trupanion pet insurance!
Excellent service every time I've had to use my trupanion pet insurance. Claim is paid directly to my vet and I have peace of mind that all I have to pay is my 10%.
