Why people hate insurance companies

My dog is four years old and was recently diagnosed with a heart defect. Nationwide won't cover it because it is a congenital defect. It is not breed specific and we had no idea he had it. He has been insured since he was 6 months old. Nationwide blows!

Figo was easy to use through the app and payments were made in a timely fashion.

I used Figo for bath my dogs for some emergency work last year (2017). It was easy to use throughout the app and uploading documents even with a screen shot was great. Payments were made between 3-4 weeks. I even got my girlfriend to switch he dog over due to my rave reviews. Keep up the great work!

Transparent, Reliable and Comprehensive Coverage

We purchased an Embrace insurance plan last year before my then 8 year old dog had experienced any serious health issues. Unfortunately, this past month he experienced one health issue after another including respiratory distress (one night in the ICU), two weeks later chocolate poisoning (another night in the ICU), complications of pancreatitis following (4 night hospital stay starting on Christmas Eve) and metabolic changes from the pancreatitis that resulted in a grand mal seizure at the hospital, requiring follow up with a neurologist. In addition to all our vet visits and hospitalizations there was daily lab work, an ultrasound and chest x-ray. We had thousands of dollars in bills and while I wish none of this had happened I am relieved to share that Embrace covered everything their policy had promised. There were zero surprises, the customer service was excellent and helpful and claims were processed in about two weeks with payments made via direct deposit about two days after claims were approved. We are so grateful to Embrace for giving us the peace of mind to focus on our dog. There is no bait and switch with this company and I would strongly recommend Embrace to anyone considering pet insurance!

Great staff

The staff is friendly and respond quickly to emails. My claims were processed between a couple days to two weeks but never longer than that. I will definitely be staying with Embrace Pet Insurance.

Excellent service and response time

We are so pleased with Healthy Paws! Recently, we submitted our first claim which actually consisted of three visits to the vet within two days, including a visit to the emergency/specialty vet. The claims were easy to submit and the response time from Healthy Paws was excellent. We also really appreciated the follow up from Healthy Paws checking on our dog's well being. Excellent, clear, and prompt response

My experience with Embrace Pet Insurance has been very positive. While not every claim was covered, the explanation was very clear. Claims were handled immediately after receipt from the Veterinarian, so, very little wait time. For covered claims, the check came within just a couple of weeks. Staff is very friendly. As my dog is getting older and has more medical issues, I feel confident of the service provided by Embrace.

Amazing!

We've had Embrace insurance for our dog Tucker for several years and on purpose we chose a higher deductible for emergency type situations. Our dog recently came down with Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever which then caused additional side effects. He was in the ICU for almost a week and we submitted bills to Embrace for around $6500, they have paid out everything in a timely fashion and took out the financial cost from our decision making when it came to figuring out his treatment. HIGHLY recommend them for coverage.
