DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT GETTING THIS INSURANCE …
I was paying for 4 years the insurance for my pet Piera with policy # 1533639-03. I only made one claim sinve I started. 3 years later after being paid for a long time, my cat had an emergency, I took her to the vet, the clinic tested her and higher recommend to have a dental cleaning because she had many dental plaques , that was the first emergency visit and I was charged US 281.80. A week later I took her for her dental cleaning and I was charged for US 350.00 more. Then I called to Met-life and I asked to the agent if I needed to put 2 different claims, the answe was NO, "you don't need to, just put everything in a single claim. Like 90 days later the claim was completely denied. Then I called again and they sent me an appeal form that would take 90 days more to see if I had a case to claim part of the money. 90 days and monthly I pay almos 30 dollars plus the 90 days when my claim was denied? I DIDN'T HAVE THE RISK AGAIN. I feel that i was robbed for 4 years. do not think about getting this insurance. It is a complete fraud. RIcardo Munoz

Very easy to submit claim for payment directly to payee. They submitted it at time of estimate and we did not have to worry about cost and could focus on our pets surgery and well being.

Extremely quick to respond, App and website is easy to use for claim submission. My dog stayed in ER for 36 hours and Trupanion issued the balance owed to me almost instantly. Trustworthy service and I'll be putting my future pets on Trupanion as well!
