You need to change your wording in your in your benefit for better explanation
You need to change your wording in your available benefits. You say emergencies are covered but yet you considered an emergency room visit as an office visit that is misleading. And to me unscrupitable. When you say you cover emergency you should cover emergencies that's what people are paying for when they get that coverage. You're also very slow in approving claims.

Easy Claim Process
Easy app to navigate. Claims resolved quickly. Only thing that I didn't care for is how deductible was applied. Normally applied to bill first then you pay your 20% of remainder. We had to pay 20%, then deductible applied. This raised our cost of treatment by 100$.

It’s so fast and so easy to submit a claim. The review and settlement is also very quick. It makes me very confident that my dog’s care isn’t limited by an insurance company.

Change of Payment WAS made but still canceled
We got a letter on 9/5/2025 stating that Daisy Mae's policy was set to cancel be/c our credit card expired. I called on 9/16/2025 (a full month before the deadline) to pay and update to the new card. I spoke with agent Kim. To our knowledge, this was all taken care of until I got a letter in the mail yesterday stating a claim was being denied be/c the policy lapsed. The agent Tammy was very rude, not willing to look into this at all. She simple said you have to re-apply and you may not get accepted based on history and pre-existing conditions. I was then transferred to Franklin (5-star for him) who submitted a new application for Daisy Mae. I should get a refund for the payments made during my call on 9/16/25 and be reimbursed for my latest claim be/c we did as asked and clearly Agent Kim did not follow through.

Very clear explanations about varying levels of coverage. I received emails and texts reminding me to provide them with documentation from my veterinarian and their support staff was extremely helpful.

Very Disappointed with the Transition to Hartville
I carried pet insurance for my last seven dogs through 24PetWatch and was always satisfied with the coverage and service. Unfortunately, when they discontinued their insurance program and transferred my policy to Hartville, my experience changed significantly. Since the transition, my premiums have increased while my coverage appears to have decreased. Items that were previously covered — such as supplements and prescription diet food — are no longer being reimbursed. In addition, customer service has not been helpful, which has added to my frustration. With one senior dog and another managing seizures, changing providers isn’t a simple option for me. I truly expected a smoother transition and comparable coverage. I hope Hartville will take steps to improve both their coverage consistency and customer support for long-time policyholders.
