We have used Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for Gretchen, our 11-year-old German Shepherd mix since she was a year old. We value Healthy Paws because we do not have to be overly concerned about excessive medical expenses for items such as surgery. Healthy Paws always promptly pays for covered items according to the policy guidelines. For Gretchen's recent elbow surgery the payment was made two days after the surgery.

Healthy Paws is hands down the best pet insurance out there. I’ve been with them for over 15 years and they have never disappointed us. We recently had a medical bill of over $10,000 for our cat Vixie, and in less than a week it was approved for payment. That kind of support during such a stressful time is priceless. Choosing Healthy Paws was one of the best decisions we ever made. It gives us peace of mind knowing we never have to choose between our finances and our fur babies’ health. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere
When dealing with this company it is important to realise they will try everything to not try and pay for rehabilitation after surgery even when told it would all be covered. I highly recommend choosing another company such as CAA, vet board insurance or true panion. Absolute nightmare and they do not care about your well-being or your pets just about your credit card number and charging it on a monthly basis. This is especially disappointing because I did my due diligence, calling them to make sure the surgery and rehab would be covered, these calls are supposed to be recorded you can very easily go back to hear what was said. But it's easier for them to brush you off because they know that you won't be able to go anywhere else since it's now considered a pre-existing condition. Great job Fetch, you definitely know how to use the system to your advantage.....

Best Pet Insurance I have had
I have had half a dozen pet insurance companies. Spot is the first that took the time to review my dogs records and issue reimbursement based on the information given. They were able to discern from what was a pre existing condition and a new problem. Payment is quick and timely. I have Wellness as an add on and it’s nice to get reimbursement for various vaccinations and services.

I'm so thankful that I purchased pet…
I'm so thankful that I purchased pet insurance! So far, Spot has covered almost half of what I've put up front, for my two cats. It's a great comfort to know I have this assistance going forward when issues may arise. It is also very easy to submit your vet's notes and file for reimbursement.
