I have throughly been impressed with how quickly MetLife Pet insurance has addressed our claims and with the reimbursement we have received. I am so glad I signed up with them and highly recommended them!!!

I was able to get my claim uploaded…
I was able to get my claim uploaded easily and had a response saying it was received before the end of the same day. Review process was alot quicker than some of the other insurances' I've had to deal with in the past.

Dropped my sick dog!
Nationwide dropped my plan as soon as my dog got sick! I had seen other reviews saying Nationwide is great until your dog gets sick then they drop you and sure enough that's what happened to me. I paid increasing premiums for five years and then my dog got glaucoma and had a bunch of claims and then my plan was "discontinued" at renewal. They offered me another plan at nearly double the rate for less coverage and they wouldn't even provide me with a written overview of the plan in advance they could only give me the details verbally. And now I can't go anywhere else because then my dog's condition would be considered "pre-existing." They know I'm forced to stay with them at their outrageous prices. Shady company!

Worst pet insurance ever
Worst pet insurance ever. They stall on paying your claims. My dog had her first UTI a nationwide insurance said it was a pre-existing condition. It took them three months to even reply after I had spoken to several supervisors. The supervisors would give me their direct email and when I would email them, I wouldn’t get a response. I finally canceled the pet insurance two months ago and they are still taking money out of my account. I called customer service the other day and they said it would take 3 to 4 months to reimburse me my money. I should’ve known and read reviews that they were a bad pet insurance there nationwide app doesn’t even work properly. If there was zero stars, I would rate them that.
