Stellar Customer Service
Claims are processed quickly and they are very easy to understand. When I have had to add a pet to my coverage, customer service was very helpful. When I had to update an address, again they were wonderful and helped solve my problems quickly.

Slow updates and they find ways to avoid paying vet bills. Reimbursement takes too long.

Dishonest customer service
Dishonest customer service. They canceled the coverage for one of my two dogs and then doubled the premium. They did this because he turned 7 years old. They lied that payment hadn't been made when the premium has always been set to auto withdrawal from my bank account and payment had been withdrawn for my six year old dog. Very sketchy and unethical.

The worst pet insurance
The worst pet insurance, when they deny coverage, claiming a UTI is a pre- existing condition for my cat. He's never been sick. He got a infection and had treatment plan with great recovery. I was told to file a dispute with complete documentation, but a supervisor called back and said if in 180 days and he didn't have reoccurrence they might consider revisiting their decision. The make sure in 30 day trial, they will definitely not pay out a claim.. You think ASCAP would be the advocate for animals, but just like other insurance companies. Some many reasons to denied and not pay out a claim.. All about making money, especially if your fur baby bill is too high..

If I could give this company a 0 I…
If I could give this company a 0 I would. I have one of my dogs on this insurance and another with a different company. Each had their benefits so I thought I would try one each and see which one is better. Found out pretty quick. I rescued a pup and got the Fetch insurance right away. I have had him 4 months now and he is a very active sweetheart. One day he was eating and got spooked and choked in his food. The next day it appeared his back hurt. Took him to emergency vet thinking my insurance would cover it. I got denied everything because the diagnosis was back pain. It didn’t even cover the emerg appointment to get diagnosis. It took almost 2 weeks to get the denial. By then I had done a recheck to test and verify everything was ok. He was fine after 5 days of meds and had I known he wasn’t covered he would never have needed a recheck. My dog is fine now but it cost me over $1200. Everywhere I looked it said a 6 month waiting period on hip and knee, not back pain. Had I know I would have gone with the other insurance because my guy is very active. I called today and they said it is all orthopedic conditions which include muscles/tendons/ bones/ligaments. Like what’s the point of even paying for insurance. I read the small print and sure enough….it is not right to advertise just hip or knee…. Terrible company. My other insurance is way better so far. But how is this right? Now because of this I will be excluded from any back related illnesses even though xray showed nothing and my dog was hurting in the back region…… Stay away! I appealed but now I get to wait another month and the doctor didn’t give a definite diagnosis. She just said it was back spasm and if it didn’t resolve it could be IVDD. It resolved and he is doing great right now.
