Stay Away from this company

Stay Away from this company. They were amazing for the first few years but once my dog became ill, that has changed. Today, Pets Best cancelled my pet's policy. No warning, no contact in advance, just a "dear john" email. I did not request this and would not do so since my dog has become diabetic within the last 18months. Pets Best did not have an issue when she was a healthy dog but since she became ill have been slow to pay and customer service went from excellent to non-existent. BEWARE before you sign up!

Healthy Paws Just Screwed Customers with Senior Pets!

I have been a loyal Healthy Paws Pet Insurance customer for 18 years this year. I've always had multiple pets covered at the same time and have paid Healthy Paws $1,000s over the years to protect my pets. Although I sincerely believe having the insurance has overall saved me money over the years, I just learned that Healthy Paws arbitrarily changed the reimbursement percentage on all pets 7 years and older to 70% from 90%. This makes a huge difference when you have an expensive claim! I have paid for 90% coverage for years and I am livid about this. The 90% coverage is extremely important when pets are seniors! Yet Healthy Paws screwed all pet owners by doing this! I will be researching what agencies I can talk to about this. Since Healthy Paws is backed by Chubb, you would think they would have the money to offer the coverage they have always offered. Maybe this is an indication of financial instability???? I would encourage you NOT to get Healthy Paws pet insurance for your pets, and if you have Healthy Paws, I strongly encourage you to find other coverage if your pets do not have pre-existing conditions. A Seriously Ticked Off Customer

This is our first time having Pet…

This is our first time having Pet insurance for our dog. She adopted Skyla from the Humane Society last July and they recommended it. Skyla had her first dental cleaning in February and needed 6 teeth removed due to lose of bone in the front. I submitted the procedure report and bills to Fetch and they covered $600 of the $1300 bill. We are very happy since we are retired on fixed income. Very happy with response. Linda Henninger

COMPANY FEELS LIKE THEY'RE SCAMMING YOU.

Awful customer service. They deny your claim. Then you call and they go 'oh that was just an automated denial' It's like no human actually reads your claims. It's just scanned. So if you have them you HAVE to call them. Meanwhile my other dog insured by another company sends us a check immediately.
