Pet insurance helped save my dog Honeybee
My 6-year-old pitbull mix Honeybee suddenly collapsed one night and we rushed her to the ER. She had bleeding in her abdomen and fluid around her heart - three different ER vets thought she had aggressive cancer and suggested euthanasia. We were not prepared to make such a drastic decision, and because of her pet insurance we were able to take the second, more costly route: have the ER stabilize her so we could get her in to an internal medicine specialist. When we saw the specialist, he performed multiple tests and ultimately confirmed that she does not have cancer. He could not tell us what caused the sudden issue - it could be something as simple as "swallowing a honeybee" (ironic) - and had not seen anything like it in his 40 years of practice. But now, just a few days later, Honeybee is already back to her normal, energetic self. Because we had the cushion of pet insurance to help pay for the ER and specialist expenses, we were able to take the time needed to ultimately save a vital member of our family. Less than two weeks since the original episode, we have already received almost all the reimbursement related to these expenses. Thank you for ensuring we have more time with our sweet girl.

I just LOVE PetsBest!
PetsBest payed up over $20,000.00 for my Yorkie's radiation treatment and, to my surprise, they did not drop me but instead they renewed my insurance! I highly recommend them to every dog owner.

Has been easy to upload claims once the account has been set up. Disappointed that EOB’s are only available for review for a short period of time then become unavailable.

Pumpkin is great- they pay claims with incredible speed!
Pumpkin is great- they pay claims in record time and the staff is extremely supportive. I had a policy that was priced reasonably, and the process for submitting claims is not complicated. I highly recommend Pumpkin!

Relief during difficult time
Throughout my dog’s life, Healthy Paws has shown incredibly prompt processing of claims and reimbursement. They have clearly written policies and helpful customer service during the few occasions that I’ve needed additional answers. My dog is currently going through a serious medical issue and Healthy Paws has given me no added stress and their coverage provides peace of mind that I can afford this expensive treatment. edited to add: After reading several more recent reviews from other customers, I am concerned that my experience may not be the norm now that the company was purchased by Chubb. I have been a customer for over 9 years and it has been extremely positive overall, but I appreciate learning from other longterm customers about their experiences with outrageous premium increases and bad customer service communication. I am fortunate that those issues have not yet arisen for me.

I love the coverage and the price but…
I love the coverage and the price but the app is not user friendly. It should’ve been on BETA testing for longer. I was not been able to update my first pet’s policy to a family plan so I could add my second pet. I had to add the second one individually and now I’m going to proceed to link both accounts if possible. Thank you for your time
