Long-Term Customers Deserve Better
Our dog has been insured with Healthy Paws since 2017. We enrolled him as a puppy with no pre-existing conditions and selected a plan with 90% reimbursement and a $200 deductible. We chose Healthy Paws specifically for the peace of mind that this level of coverage would provide if our dog ever developed significant health issues. Over the years, our premiums increased periodically. While I was not always happy about the increases, I understood that rising costs affect everyone and accepted them as part of maintaining coverage. That changed a few months ago when Healthy Paws increased our monthly premium from approximately $98 to $225.95. Not only was this a dramatic increase, but they also reduced our reimbursement rate from 90% to 70% and increased our deductible from $200 to $500. What is most troubling is that I was given no choice in these changes and no alternative options. When we enrolled in 2017, there was no provision in our policy stating that pets over a certain age would be limited to 70% coverage. Had such a provision existed, I would have reconsidered purchasing the policy. Now, after nearly a decade with Healthy Paws, we have little ability to switch carriers because most pet insurance companies exclude pre-existing conditions. I was never asked to agree to these significant changes. Instead, I received a generic notification email. Healthy Paws built its reputation on providing peace of mind to pet owners. Unfortunately, these changes have had the opposite effect. During our dog's senior years, when insurance matters most, we are paying more than ever while receiving substantially less coverage. In my view, Healthy Paws should have honored the coverage terms that existing customers originally purchased while continuing to implement premium increases as needed to address rising costs. If the company wanted to adopt new coverage limitations, those changes should have applied prospectively to new customers with full transparency from the outset. I am deeply disappointed and can no longer recommend Healthy Paws based on my experience.

Great until your dog is considered a senior...
Up until this year I would have rated this company a 5 all day every day. This year I have had to fight to get claims paid, constant follow-up, repeatedly upload the same files that they request, file appeals for unpaid claims(which were found in my favor) and now I am renewing one of my dogs and have just received a bill with an 81% increase. Unfortunately, my dog is 8.5 so I am locked in with them and the choice is now pay the bill or go without insurance. They have insured by dog since she was 8 weeks old but now that she is older it feels like they just want to force her off their plan.

Animal must be perfect to receive coverage
I will be canceling my insurance with Fetch. If your dog isn’t a puppy, don’t bother enrolling in their insurance plan. They’ll claim everything was a pre-existing medical condition. They profit off our monthly payments then deny any sort of coverage when you need it. Additionally, customer service is hit or miss. Some people take pride in their work and conversation, and others are just looking for a paycheck.

Cat’s Dental Surgery
I sent in a claim for my cat’s dental surgery. He’s 11 years old, and his teeth just started falling out! The response to my claim was quick, and it was covered by Fetch. For such an expensive surgery, I am so grateful I had coverage from Fetch.

I have had Embrace for my dogs for many…
I have had Embrace for my dogs for many years and they used to be great. Not anymore! Really slow to process recent claims; portal barely functions; don’t answer calls re claims ( hint: press # to indicate you want to set up a new police- - they answer quickly!); portal has noted “technical issues” for at least a month; cone on, guys. Get it fixed! 30+ business days to process first claims ( that’s SIX weeks!). Try a different company - - one that processes Claims efficiently, picks up the phone, and is capable of running an online portal.

No Good pet insurance Pumkin Pet Insurance
I am. I have been paying a $150 for the last 3 years. For pet insurance that has done nothing for me, but take take and take. I've submitted claims recently for my dog having surgery and $700 of the money that I paid went towards deductibles, and then I got denied my claims to the sum of $1500 I would never recommend pumpkin to anybody. If you need pet insurance.. I would seriously look elsewhere.. I'm not just disgruntled about these people. I'm so p***** off. They've done nothing for me in 3 years. But take take take and then because my dog turn 13 years old they upped my premium From a $115 a month to a $150 a month I hope they go out of business. I hope I hope everyone knows. What a terrible pet insurance place this is
