Submitting Claims

After submitting my initial claims they were delayed pending submitting the veterinarian notes and after submitting them I was then asked to submit the initial documents for my puppy then eventually I received a partial reimbursement after over a period of a month since I initially submitted my claims.. So l am just amazed and surprised why wasn’t I asked to submit everything from the very beginning to save me time. The overall process was so very lengthy without valid reason.

After my Boston Terrier became very ill, a trip to the hospital was required. Then you have to pay before leaving the facility. You wonder how much your insurance is going to cover and will there be issues. After submitting the invoice, I was then required to provide SOAP notes (detailed medical chart) which I was unfamiliar but the hospital did provide. Once provided, MetLife paid 80% very quickly. The process was completed on line, no confusion, didn't have to talk to anyone and I had the money within a couple of days. Thanks MetLife!

I was so happy to receive my reimbursement before my credit card payment was due. It’s stressful dealing with your fur baby suddenly having an emergency but Spot was quick at processing and getting our money to us.

My dog is 9 yrs old

My dog is 9 yrs old, n we have had Embrace for about half of those. We went w embrace because they were highly ranked on Consumer Reports. Unfortunately their service n product did not live up to expectations! 2 accidents that our dog had, they argued were not covered. These were accidents that injured my dog but no they were not covered! Now they want to raise our costs by 70%!!! No, I am not paying for useless insurance!!! Good luck with all the other suckers!!!!

You get what you pay for

You get what you pay for and my rescue, now 11 years old, deserves the best care that I can afford. Metlife offers an all encompassing program from prevention to treatment to saying goodbye for pets you love. I trusted them with my first service dog and I trust them with this one. I've had to increase the co-pay to afford the monthly payments this year, but I am still able to ensure the best care for my senior dog as she ages. The time lapse between filing a claim and getting reimbursed can be stressful on a tight budget, but for me it's worth it knowing my dog always gets the care she deserves.
