Mommy to 4 Persian cats!
I have 4 Persian cats insured with Healthy Paws. They are the best pet insurance company around with a great app that is very easy to use to submit a claim or you can go online. You get an immediate response claim received and within 24 hours a claim number and payment is very prompt normally within 7 days. They do not ask for any vet charts and look for reasons not to pay. And the couple of times I have had to call - their customer service is super knowledgeable and very nice and helpful. They have helped me tremendously with my vet costs so I can give my Persians the care they deserve. A big FIVE STAR KUDO to them!

So Glad I had This!!!
My dog was 6 when I decided to get insurance. He has been healthy so far but heard some stories of issues others had from their dogs at the dog park so figured rather be safe than sorry. I only was paid in 3 months when Paulie torn his ACL on leash going after a squirrel, something he has done since he was 10 weeks old.The total cost from my vet was $4200.00.It took a few weeks to get approved, being the 1st claim and all. Had to get a full year of history to make sure it wasn't pre-exsiting condition ( I totally understood).When the claim was approved it was Zelled to my account within 5 mins!!!! i got reimbursed $3100.00. I was so happy. I have been sharing this story with everyone. No one should have to decide on putting their dog down because of money. This helps you decide faster. Thank you Metlife.

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance has proven to me that they care for my fur baby. They process my claims in a timely manner, provide information on the status of my claims, and follow through with questions and concerns about the healing and well being of my doggie. WORST INSURANCE COMPANY EVER
please please please don't get pet insurance with fetch, they take 2 months to review claims AND you HAVE to take you pet to the vet at least once year for your insurance to be valid. We were paying $200 a month for our insurance (for two big dogs) had 1 vet visit for our puppy and we didn't get anything back because we were $9 under the deductible. The math doesn't add up and they don't want to pay you. We switched to CAA pet insurance, pay cheaper rates, and have got our claim review and payout back in days. Please don't waste your money on fetch! it's super concerning because what if you had a large vet bill and they didn't pay you? but yet you paid into your insurance for years? so frustating!!!

So Grateful I Have Them!
My adopted pitbull mix was rescued from the worst conditions. I chose Healthy Paws hoping I would not have to use it. Unfortunately my pup has had several health issues from slip disk requiring surgery, splenectomy and cancer surgery. They have saved me thousands of dollars !! Having Healthy Paws has allowed me to do whatever has been needed for my beloved pibble to heal . If it weren't for them I don't know what I would have done. I am so grateful to them !! They have fast claim reimbursement with no issues usually within a few days. So glad I made the decision to go with Healthy Paws !

Health Paws saved my dogs life...
My dog started having trouble breathing so we took her to our local pet ER. After tests, xrays, and an ultraound, they diagnosed her with pyothorax (fluid in her chest cavity). We transferred her to another vet that could do a CT scan then her surgery. After surgery, she was in the ICU for 10 days with a chest tube then another 2 days after the tube was removed, a total of 12 days. The total discharge bill was $20k plus a $5k ER bill. The plan we have has a $500 yearly deductible then 90% plan paid/10% customer paid. Our total out of pocket ended up being around $3k out of the $25k total bill. They saved her life because there was no way we would’ve been able to afford it without knowing we’d be reimbursed. And they made the reimbursement process so easy. They called the vet and got the confirmation they needed and I got a direct deposit a few days later. Thank you so much Healthy Paws!

Great Support!
My Lab recently had surgery for neutering and at the same time, the Dr removed a cyst on his paw that would not go away with standard medication and care. The cyst removal was considered a surgical procedure as well and while the neutering wasn't covered under my policy (standard in the industry), I submitted a claim for the cyst portion of the bill and Lemonade covered the entire amount less my deductible. Lemonade was great to work with and there was no going back and forth. In fact, they didn't ask for any additional information from what I originally provided. Great support and thank you Lemondade!
