The veterinarians and students at MU VHC treated my boy with the utmost care and grace. When making the extremely difficult decision to say goodbye, Garfield’s team made sure to give him as much peace as they possibly could and did their best to accommodate any special memorial requests. I’d give the world to have my boy back, but I’m grateful that he spent his final week under the care of MU’s incredible, kind, and devoted doctors.

This facility lied to us about about the true diagnosis of our precious baby boy. They said and treated him for Leptospirosis when in fact he had cancer and died the day after Christmas. We only had him a day when we found out the true report.Our vet received the full report after my check cleared the bank. I would not recommend them to anyone. The suffering Spud went through there to die a week later. Nothing can bring him back, I know but please people find somewhere else to help your fur babies.

I had an emergency last night with my pregnant mare. The equine medical team was waiting for us to arrive and immediately went to work on her. We still don't know what the outcome will be with her and the foal but know my mare is in good caring hands. With the medical team waiting for my arrival and how quick they moved into action proved to me they love what they do and will do everything they can. Thank you! Means the world to me

To start we brought our dog in for a dislocated hip. No big deal they took him back and looked at him. When they came in to talk to us the whole conversation started like an interrogation. His first question was “so no trauma” with a smartass tone. Whatever… we go on and they quote us for $1000-$1200 to put his hip back in place. We agree and had to put a $600 deposit. After sitting there till after they closed they put it back in and we go to leave and pay another $328.50. So grand total $928.50. We take him home and less that 10hrs later it goes back out while having the brace on. We take him to our hometown vet now that it’s a weekday and they do the exact same thing. Put him under, put it back in place and put the brace back on for a grand total of $164 including paying for his allergy medicine. Today I get an invoice in the mail from MU VETERINARY HEALTH for another $193.90. Literally a month later and in the description is says “possibly dislocated hip” My recommendation would be don’t waste your time with MU.

We were devastated when our local vet removed a lump from our dog and told us it was cancerous. They recommended we got to Mizzou for treatment and I’m so glad we did! Garp has tolerated his chemo incredibly well and the level of care and effort the staff puts in to making his visits easy for him and us is admirable. It’s been really scary especially considering how young our sweet boy is but we’ve been kept well informed on his progress and what to expect as we’ve undergone his chemo treatments. Thank you all for taking such good care of him!
