The Gift of More Time
"In late 2021 our little boy Wicket was diagnosed with lymphoma, and while our entire family was devastated we had peace of mind knowing that Pets Best had our backs. Having good medical insurance made all the difference in the world, and with the help of his amazing veterinary oncology team Veterinary Cancer Group of Orange County our little boy was able to beat stage 4 lymphoma and remain in remission for almost 3 years. When receiving devastating news about our fur babies health, the last thing that should be a factor in making medical decisions is cost or affordability, but sadly that is not always the case. We feel so blessed that Wicket was covered by Pets Best allowing us to make medical decisions based on his best interest without having to worry about anything else. Sadly, our little boy has since crossed the rainbow bridge, but the gift of the extra time we spent with him is something we'll be infinitely grateful for the rest of our lives.

My First Claim
The claim process was pretty easy to submit. I was a little surprised it took as long as it did, but I did eventually receive an email stating they were not requesting anything else but that they were a little behind on claims and apologized for the delay. Once I saw the claim amount credited, it matched with what I thought it would be.

I have always appreciated the low intensity of effort required to submit claims to PetsBest. Really makes the experience a smooth and respectful transaction instead of haranguing someone for money you are owed. Great going!
Silver Lining
After taking my dog to the ER for a snake bite and a stay that lasted 3 days in the ICU, I uploaded my claim to Pets Best mobile app. It was straightforward and easy. I was able to add my account information for direct reimbursement. I got a message from Pets Best that it was received, when it was delayed for a week, and when it was paid. I'm relieved they covered my claim as explained in their coverage plan. A silver lining after a difficult time for my family.
Pets Best Insurance
I cannot recommend Pets Best insurance enough. My dog recently had major surgery on her ACL. The claim was well over $10,000. Now she has an internal infection and all her screw and plates have to be removed. We are looking at another $10k plus. The first surgery, we were responsible for approx. 1,500 of the over 10,000 cost. Our sweet girl is 14 years old. The last thing anyone wants to do is euthanize your beloved pet because you can't afford surgery. I am grateful, beyond words, that we have Pets Best.

So Many Pets
With two cats with chronic health issues and. Doberman Pinscher who gets into trouble. We file a lot of claims. Pets Best has never denied a claim. Even the $7000 claim went right through.

"Being a long time dog owner, when we got our most recent 2 dogs we decided to be proactive about long term financial protection from catastrophic disease or injury. One of the dogs developed a very serious neurological disorder and requires significant meds and treatment. Pets Best has covered the expenses without issues or challenges. Jordy’s stomach issue
Jordy started throwing up daily, I took him to our local clinic, they took X-rays. He was referred to Nelson’s Veterinary Clinic to be further examined by Dr. T. Taylor. Jordy was diagnosed with an obstruction inside his stomach at rectum. He had surgery the next day. A growth was removed and sent for testing, results later determined non cancerous. He is still recovering from surgery but is doing a lot better. I had difficulty at first speaking with some individuals at ASPCA about records for Jordy for his whole life are only at local clinic, the ones at Dr. T. Taylor’s clinic were only the dates of Jordy’s current medical issue. After speaking with Adin at ASPCA all was understood and they covered all of the care Jordy received thank you very much.

Second Fur Baby
My soul baby battled 2 cancers and Pets Best was there for us through it all. I couldn't have done her expensive cancer treatments if it wasn't for Pets Best. Unfortunately, we lost the battle. But because of Pets Best, I got to spend 5 more months with her post diagnosis I recently ended up adopting a fur baby that I'm fostering and of course I signed up the baby with Pets Best right away. There's no other insurance company that I would trust. My fiance's baby uses Pets Best as well and we always tell our friends and families about how great they are
