Because whoever I talked to told me they emailed all hospitals looking for records and nobody sent them.

Because whoever I talked to told me they emailed all hospitals looking for records and nobody sent them. I work at one of the hospitals and they never emailed. I asked why they didn’t inform me that nobody was responding with the info they requested and she me they didn’t want to put me in the middle. Yet told Me I would probably have to call each hospital and ask them to email the record. She essentially was passing blame into the veterinarian instead of accepting it. Every email about submitted claims I received clearly stated that if they needed more information they would CONTACT ME. Yet on the phone says they would never do that.

Caution:

My Cat is diagnosed with Stomatitus. But you wont cover the medicated toothepaste nor mouth wash that I need. If I need to take him to the vet to check his Stomatitus, not a regular checkup, you wont cover it because youll consider it regular. King has one issue, Stomatitus. He goes to the vet not for a checkup. Its to make sure his Stomatitus isnt getting out of control. Lack of covered options has me about to stop insurence but we will see.

really?

i can't believe this company has received nothing but positive reviews. i am yet to receive a check from them. they have never notified me when my claim is being questioned. their directions on submitting more information is paltry. i've heard from several neighbors that they have never received a payout, as well. is feeling like a huge waste of my money and time.

Lori, We’re sorry you are not satisfied with your plan. Your initial claim was denied due to missing information. We were in need of your pet's complete medical records and did not receive them, as such the claim was closed. We sent multiple notification emails to you noting that the claim needed documentation in order to be completed. We also sent your veterinary clinic multiple requests asking for records. Please note that when the necessary documents are received we can gladly open the claim for review. Your other claim was denied due to the invoice items falling under one of your plan's limited exclusions. The Healthy Paws Team
