Disaster from the Start
When we selected our policy, the writer made errors in what we selected for coverage. We called immediately and told it could not be changed that we would have to wait a year to make any changes or updates. Every claim we submitted was denied even though it was for our puppy and fell within the guidelines. We wanted full coverage and did not receive what we requested. I do not recommend based on lack of customer service,

No hassle claims, fast and caring response
I called Trupanion when Maggie was diagnosed with Bronchitis, which eventually progressed to Pneumonia. The Trupanion customer care rep was sincerely caring about the situation particularly because Maggie is older for a BMD. Since I was having issues with the website she helped me with an alternative path to submit invoices. The claims have continued for several months and are approved within 24 hours. Amazing really particularly as compared to human healthcare hassles. We're hoping Maggie is finally coming out of the woods and happy to have Trupanion support to defray the costs.

Can't get easier or better!
This is my first year using Lemonade and I'm more than impressed! It was very easy to sign up and they explained all of my options in an easy to understand manner. Actually having options was amazing too! I could choose to cover specific things, like an annual exam, for example, rather than having everything lumped in, even if I didn't need it. The low cost, especially for a senior dog, was astounding as well.
When it finally came time to file a claim (for an Annual exam with blood work) the process was painless. I used the phone app to list all the services that the Vet had provided, how much I'd paid, used my camera to take a picture of the invoice, and sent it to Lemonade (who had walked me through each step). Within four hours Lemonade had deposited all of the money they owed me into my bank account with no arguing about what was covered and what wasn't. The whole process was painless and easy. Thank you, Lemonade!

LOVE THIS INSURER!
IT'S pretty easy to put in claims with Met Life and most things I thought were covered really are. Love the peace of mind knowing if anything catastrophic happens, Deacon will be covered.

Everything needed in pet health/maintenance
My first review on any kind of insurance. I recommend this insurance. It's very affordable and covers just about everything! Very much worth the price...especially with the cost of vets, vaccines and visits. You'll be glad you did!

Oh my! I wish every pet owner knew about Metlife! Had it not been for the latest rescue group, S.O.S, Saving One Soul who recommended this company, we never would have been the wiser and I have been in the vet field for 17 years! Tremendous coverage with reasonable premium! LOVE MET LIFE!

Experience of claim submission
All my claims leading up to my deductible arrived through the portal. My 3 rd claim was a partial reimbursement and sub’s on 5/19/2023 nothing only in process. I called the end of May and asked why the woman was not helpful. I reissued and still an issue called to be sure the woman was not the same and very pleasant and most helpful. She was the reason I would give 5 stars. I believe I only gave 4. Maybe you should listen to the recording of our call and use it in training the way to do. I am also a MetLife retire.
