My 11 month old kitten suddenly stopped…
My 11 month old kitten suddenly stopped eating and after a few days became lethargic. Had to take her to the emergency vet and I was astounded by the cost. Trupanion paid a large part of my bill and it was deposited into my account in just a few days. Filing a claim was much easier than I thought it would be and I was absolutely amazed at Trupanion’s quick response. I’m very grateful for that Insurance and the peace of mind it gave me.

HEARTLESS COMPANY
We called this company to change over billing information as we had taken over my brother's dog after he had passed UNEXPECTEDLY. They gave us {his family} the only option to buy a whole new policy in which everything that was covered on my brother's policy would no longer be covered & gave us the excuse that their policy states needing a POA to take claim over the ownership of Oberon {we have access to his app, his policy, declarations page as well as his renewal paperwork & NO WHERE does it state needing a POA or paperwork stating new ownership of the dog to take over an existing policy}. Oberon is only two & ½ but has had many issues that were covered by this policy & not having access to it & starting a whole new one would then have us pay for everything out of pocket making the policy literally useless because of some lie they pulled out of thin air to gain a new policy over helping a helpless animal who had NO CONTROL OVER LOSING HIS DAD. Such a heartless company full of lies & excuses & not fulfilling their duty to the animals they supposedly claim to care for.

Very slow processing
Very slow processing. You have to do everything yourself or else or claim will be closed. I have a claim for over a thousand for my dog's emergency care and they just closed it saying I didn't submit them documents when I already submitted them all the docs our vet gave us. I had to call my vet myself to ask for the docs again and was told they never received a request from petsbest. Very lousy and lazy support. They are quick to close a claim but takes time to open or reprocess it after you've given them yet again the same docs after providing it to them the first time.
