I bought insurance for my dog
I bought insurance for my dog. Had two appointments the first was $650 of which they reimbursed $150 the second two weeks later for $1005 and they refused to reimburse me because they said it was not within the waiting period! This is ridiculous!!!! Poor customer service lies and they don’t care at all !!

High Ethical Standards
The process for submitting a claim is extremely easy. on an earlier claim, I felt that the customer service reps did an excellent job in realizing a first time condition for Woody could not be associated with any previous condition. My claim had been rejected, but the reviewers re-assessed all the information associated with the claim and quickly overturned the rejection and approved the claim. That tells me this company has high ethical standards and validates USAA's recommendation of them.

Just so disappointed with the actual coverage. When we had an actual emergency, including prescribed medicated food—very little was actually covered by this policy. After a yearly expense of $1,500 for coverage i expected better. We had around $900 in vet expenses, the “80%” back that we’re getting is around 150 bucks. It’s fine but- Why did we spend this money on emergency coverage when we could have saved it instead and come out on top? We had this for a few years now and the cost is going up an additional 50$ a month—so a yearly cost of $2100, and pittance for emergency coverage in compensation. Turns out it’s smarter to save what we’d pay in a high yield savings account and hold to accrue interest than pay somebody else to barely cover anything. I feel ripped off by this.
