SO GRATEFUL FOR PUMPKIN PET INSURANCE!
I enrolled with Pumpkin Pet Insurance when I got my puppy (Clark), and a year later discovered he has a chronic condition that has required two pet hospital stays and many vet appointments. Pumpkin's website is extremely easy to navigate, so I can file a claim and send them my invoice in less than five minutes. And after initial approval for his condition, reimbursements show up in my bank account the same day! I could not afford to care for Clark without affordable pet insurance, and I definitely recommend Pumpkin Pet Insurance to all pet owners!

Absurd policy
I decided to go with Lemonade for my dog's pet insurance. I chose a deductible and a percentage of reimbursement. When it came time, the first time, to get reimbursed, I was amazed to find out that I would not be reimbursed for any examination. In other words, I knew I would not be reimbursed for routine wellness exams, like once a year; however, if my dog were sick, or in an accident, of course the first treatment would be the examination. If the examination is not included, then what exactly are we being reimbursed for?? I find this absolutely mind-boggling, almost like as a policy holder I have been completely cheated! Stay clear of this pet insurance!

Pricey and unclear
Poor clarity of coverage on website. Misleads customer into believing routine or preventative vet visits would be covered. Customer support staff is not sensitive or understanding of customer’s perspective. Generally just a difficult and misguided experience.
